The Xbox version has the most eye-pleasing visuals, better separated audio and quality in general, and the fastest load times. However, the widescreen mode wasn’t implemented properly in the Xbox version because it slightly cuts off more of the screen and words on the HUD, so it’s recommended that you leave it disabled. The widescreen mode in the PS2 version, on the other hand, has no issues, but the Xbox version’s improper widescreen should not be seen as a major turn-off. It is a problem, but it’s something barely worth pointing out since the Xbox version has the most amount of benefits anyways. The eye-pleasing visuals in the Xbox version means smoother and better filtered textures, more blood accumulates around the stage, and the additional effects adds more depth and detail with reflections and bump mapping. The sound effects are also less distorted and feature a higher range of treble, mids, and bass, and it also loads slightly quicker per level. The GCN port does have a couple of advantages over the other versions. For starters, there are more characters unlocked from the start, and more importantly, you get two additional characters not found in the other two versions. But of course, the GCN version does come with a few disadvantages, including degraded visuals, severely compressed bonus videos, and the least suitable controls especially for a game like this.
I actually like Xbox versions's camera angle. It's near to the fighters which makes the combat more tense. And I have to say that healthbar looks more like widescreen in Xbox version. Because in PS2 and GC, it takes almost all the screen horizontally.
Fun fact: psp version is not deception name but they change to unchained even the intro press the button have chained break animation and 3 characters that playable in psp blaze, shao khan and goro...some kontent is little bit different
Correction: Shao Kahn and Goro were already playable in the Gamecube version. They were added in that version to make up for the Gamecube's lack of online play. The PSP exclusives were Kitana, Jax, Frost, and Blaze.
@@CrocoDylianVT unfortunately true , gamers hated Deception's roster so they whipped out every single character but screwed up everything else in the next game.

el de gamecube parece que es el que mas filtros gráficos aplica, se ve bastante mejor que el de ps2, el de xbox es que en general se ve mejor, mas detalles y polígonos muestra
I also compared their graphics by myself. Xbox version undoubtedly has better textures and graphics. Especially bump mapping on the floor. Gamecube has sharper image quality but less colorful than PS2/Xbox version. And Xbox and PS2's sound quality is better than Gamecube's because GC's audio is compressed due to its DVD size capacity.

As someone who's played all versions of deception the only difference is the psp and gcn have more characters and in konquest you get to face sub zero after training with him the ps2 and Xbox skip that part
it's actually scale well with 1920x1080 since the psp resolution is 480x272, if you multiply by 4 for height and width, you'd get 1920x1088, which is very close to 1080p (basically it's 8 times bigger)
Gamecube version is the best, it brings Shao Kahn and Goro Unchained is worst, downgraded mechanics and graphics also all 4 characters it brings are just MKDA versions of Sonya, Jax, Frost and Blaze
