Recorded live during "The Hour of Power" from the Crystal Cathedral, Garden Grove, CA. May 6, 2002. This piece is published by G.I.A. Publications, Chicago, IL.
The organist at our church played this piece for a service (2009) in which a retired, greatly revered pastor returned. It fit the occasion perfectly, and the organist did it justice. In fact, I looked up the composer on RUclips to relive the moment. Congratulations on composing this!
It Never Ceases To Amaze Me The Sheer Power Of Wind Thru Pipes & The Incredible Beautiful Sounds The Mighty Pipe Organ Can Make. The Loud Rumble Of The Bass Pedals & How Sharp & Crisp The Trumpet Stops Are. Beautiful Performance & Demonstration Of The Variety Of Moods & Sounds On The Pipe Organ. Bravo!
I myself liked the way he played the piece and made the place shake with joy and pride...I am practicing on the piece and will play it at my church very soon indeed!!!
Hello all right with you? I congratulate you in advance for your performance. I would like to request the piece "Amazing Grace" in PDF. Love this organ arrangement piece. I am a student of Portuguese organ. I'm currently in my second year of high school. Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this comment. Keep up the great work
what do you mean America lost? It didn't lose anything! The instrument is in the process of an extensive restoration in Italy at the moment and will be reinstalled at the building soon.
@@larikipe940 that organ was quite a organ back in the 80s and 90s, it's likely back to where it was in the beginning. #5 pipe organ in the world. The Congregational Church of LA organ is bigger than this one.
@@califdad4 I've played 2 noon-day recitals at 1st Church in LA, it's about 70 ranks larger, but when you're over 15,000 pipes, who really cares? Huge is huge.
Man, full organ doesn't get better than this!!!
Toll !!!!!!!!! Tolle Modulationen !!!!!!!!!!!

Utterly magnificent.
Sorry I am not knocking this piece in my earlier comment, but I do actually like this piece of music.
A great arrangement, one of the more famous arrangements of course. This is just a great and inspiring work. Thanks for posting it on RUclips.
Amazing organist and hymn arrangement!
Wow, Chris, now I can't wait to hear you play the "new" organ at BSC! you really are amazing, and I get to hear you every Sunday!
Good stereo effect at 2.10. Just bought this on Amazon.

Only Virgil could have done better. No one else. bravo for this piece.
The guy playing this is also the composer! Pretty sure he’s the one who can play it the best, seeing as how he wrote it.
Wow. I need to rock that organ with take me out to the ballgame..
OH! YEEEAH!
Beautiful! Don't suppose you could share a recording of your Toccata on Hyfrydol too?
The only thing I would change about this performance is I wish he would hold onto the last chord a little longer.
I agree with you. It's a magnificent arrangement and interpretation. Beautiful!

Played this as a postlude not too long ago!

Il a autant d'assurance que l'autre qui rigolait bêtement a chaque phrase..

beautiful organ, I LOVE this song but he played too many extra notes in it

It's a DARN shame what happened to this magnificent instrument that America lost. Virgil was responsible for this mighty instrument.

This sounds too much like Jean Langlais FETES.
