As good as CnC, AoW, and E-Strike are, I actually don't like playing them. They are generics and, well, have no flavor. When I want to play an assassin hero, I don't want to be generic. When I want to play a guardian hero, I don't want to be generic. And so on...
You can see them trying to put more cards that do similar things into each class or talent but people really have a bias towards having that powerful playset that can go in any deck.
I mean, C&C is a great utility card that is also quite versatile. It doesnt enable degenerate turns like AoW did
Very true. It's really good at doing what it does but it's not nearly as flexible as AoW.
