  • Have you ever wanted to make a really awesome base for your Warhammer / Dungeons and Dragons / Kings of War miniatures?
    Well, in this video I'll show you how I made the ultimate waterfall base for my classic Tom Bombadil miniature from Games Workshop.
    Using Milliput, epoxy resin, cork bark and a wire tree I was able to make this stunning realistic diorama with beautiful water effects.

    I don't understand how your dioramas don't get more views and likes!
    Your dioramas are absolutely amazing and your voice is so calming.

    Have you tried putting a layer of vaseline or some other release agent on the dams to avoid that capillary lip on the resin?

    • @HighEyeWorkshop
      @HighEyeWorkshop  2 года назад

      Yes, but it tends to reduce the mirror-like edge of the resin which requires a lot of polishing to correct...

    Hello, first I would like to say I love your work, you've been a great inspiration for me, as I have begun to build dioramas.
    Second I would like to ask for your advice. I recently have been working on a winter esk water diorama. I mixed what I thought was a Icy looking blue mixture into the resin anddddd Now it looks green LOL. Has something like this happened to you? If so is there anything to be done? My only thought was to pour another thin layer of resin with a much darker blue pigment to hide it.
    Well thank you and can't wait to see the next video.

    • @HighEyeWorkshop
      @HighEyeWorkshop  Год назад

      Thank you for your kind words. I suppose it would depend on the pigment material and the resin. I've never had a problem like this. For an icy look I would tend just to use a pure blue with a little white. An icy blue pigment may contain an element of yellow, I guess - not sure. I use glass paints in epoxy.

    So amazing looks so real be great of you can do model packs for starters with video training to go with it , you could even make it a subscription offer only saying as I would love to learn but have not clue of what to buy so if you offered a model in a box with videos instructions then I’m sure learners like me would buy 😃 outstanding work
