Alot of people heard this song for the first time from this show, but i think the first time people really got to hear jt in media was way back in the Battle of the Bulge movie from the 1960s (,I know for me it was a few years ago when i was just a kid) was fun to hear it in this series.
This show lures you in with it's "lol wtf this sounds so stupid i have to see it" premise, but as soon as you start watching it you can't stop, and before you even notice you catch yourself begging your gf to wear a oarai school uniform... Or so I've heard
If you had to be in WW2 and were assigned to command a German tank, but got to pick what type of German tank - any WW2-era German tank you wanted, what would you pick? At first I'd think one of the big bois (Tiger II, but apparently they broke down all the time. I'm also really a fan of the Panther, but it was said to have final drive issues as well that even the vastly improved, late-war but-not-rushed last ditch Panthers still had. So, I'd have to say Tiger I. Not without its issues itself, there are many stories of one of these holding back entire tank companies and still being alive when contact was broken. So you had a fighting chance against almost anything, and if you went down you made them pay a toll before they took you.
Not sure about that. Tbh most of germany tank are pretty unreliable due to underpower engine or bad transmission or just have a really bad brake. But if i have to maybe a panther G or F although the drive can catch on fire due to weak material but still that late war design have the same reliabilty of a panzer 4 so yeah. but if possible a tank from E series like E 50M etc but ofc it never built but if i can pick every tank that has been designed than i will pick E50M a huge ass engine and a thick armor that as thick as tiger 2 some way. But its reliabilty is unknown. Or perharps a king tiger if i assigned to defend a location.
@@nazigorfurher4403 I actually was researching the numbers and the percentage of Pz6s out-of-service due to non-combat related mechanical failure at any given time was within a few percent of Pz4s and very similar to T34s. If I find it I'll link it, but it was two weeks ago and I was about 30 tabs deep into research. But it was something like 40% of Panzer 4s could be expected to be out of service for blowing a piston or breaking a transmission or throwing a roadwheel, while it was, 44% Panthers, 38% T34. So at any given time, out of a sample size of 100 tanks of various models, 62 T34 worked, 60 Panzer 4 worked, and 56 Panthers worked at that specific instant. Surely this does say that the Panther was the least reliable of the three, and that the T34 was the most reliable, buuuut...it seems to suggest the reliability of the T34 was greatly exaggerated and the unreliability of the Panther was likewise exaggerated as couple tanks plus or minus out of a hundred isn't a huge difference.
@@angry_zergling yup that is why you can say pz6's reliabilty is somewhat on the same level as pz4's reliabilty. But i prefer pz6's since you still actually can modified it again whic mean more rooms to grow while pz4 cant grow further significantly.

I have watched it at least in the us it's on Netflix. I liked it but it takes quite the suspension of disbelief because the plot of the show has got to be the stupidest I have ever seen. If you can get past that and some cringe Ive had worse ways to burn a few hours.
