- Here we are in Wales again. We're at Llwyn Madoc today, a good bit further down from our last film location Llechweddygarth. Topography may be a little gentler, but no less dramatic. Ben Brown of Hardwick Sporting runs the shooting at Llwyn Madoc, this being one of two shoots he runs. The other is the more well know shoot Tregoyd. The two shoots perfectly compliment one another as visiting guns like to shoot the two back to back. So sit back and enjoy the action at Llwyn Madoc.

I realize I am pretty off topic but do anybody know a good website to stream new series online ?
@Ramon Nathaniel Lately I have been using FlixZone. Just google for it =)
@Keanu Allan yea, I've been watching on Flixzone for months myself =)
Some superb shooting and you continue to prove yourself as one of the greatest game shots in the country. Well done!
thanks but there are plenty better than me
Just superb Dave and what testing birds!, love your second barrel use! I keep thinking you can't beat the last video then you go and give us another belter. True ambassador for our wonderful field sports. All the very best to you and the team. Regards Tony Ashton
thanks Tony👌
Fantastic yet again me and my 6 year old who has just started picking up with me watch your videos religiously every time you upload i also thing its grate how you acknowledge the pickers up and beaters for the work they do keep them coming
thanks
Dave shooting vide
Very good video again Dave however I can’t understand how people afford the clothing 👍
Toby Cussons if you can afford to shoot places like that the clothing is pennies!
What cartridges are you using? And brilliant shooting
thanks Game bore 4s and 3s
Amazing to see this long range shooting with clean kills. In sweden where i come from everybody belive that 25 meters is max and if the bird is 35 meter away the pellets cant kill the bird....
how much do they charge for one of those hunting journeys?
I get the feeling that's like asking someone how much they get paid
Hal honestly depends on how many birds your team wants to shoot, many Estates will charge between £30-£40 a bird across a team of 9-10 guns. So about £8000 for a 250 bird day.
Hello
I shot there last season. Absolutely fantastic day with incredible birds. Well shot!
thanks
Another great video Dave, have never seen you use the second barrel so much as you did today. Well done again.
difficult birds to read
Hi Dave,
I don't know how you do it but you must have some amazing help behind you to be producing videos of this quality. Really amazing and great to watch. I am very pleased I found you on RUclips. The videography is just superb.
Sandy
thankyou for your nice comments, all our films are produced in house by our own dedicated crew.
Another great video Dave, wales really does have some stunning shooting ground, and what pleasure to see the children out getting stuck in.. thats what its about..as always well done.
thanks
Another fantastic film, they just get better. You shot very well too, some cracking birds!
Epic film, superbly shot too. Question, what guns do you use? The stock seems high enough to almost be a trap gun?
montecarlo trap stock on MK60
I notice you take a lot of the birds as high crossing targets Dave - was this due to the nature of the birds on the drives or a more deliberate technique for such birds? I assume it allows you to "see" the lead better and adjust accordingly? great video thanks again
it allows for better speed and line recognition which ultimately decides my lead and direction
Another great video Dave. Would be interesting to see the lead on some of those high birds with a shotkam
thanks
Hi dave, I was just wondering what your normal/ average kill ratio was for a day.its nice watching you drop some nice high stuff but there must be a few misses after elevens 😉
Hi Robin - i do miss quite a few but probably a lot less than most people , pleased that you are enjoying the films
Thought u could not beat the last video Dave but this one was just as good !!! Superb shooting dave you are still one of the best out there . Enjoy the videos best on game shooting by far keep up the great work you and your team do 👍
thanks Darell
What some brilliant shooting by yourself Dave in such lovely setting well done, these video are getting better each time I see them looking forward to the next one. Pass my thanks onto the team as well.
thanks Kieth
WOW !!! now they were some high birds. Also as you said, deceiving how fast they were going. Amazed as to the distance you were bringing them down, must have pickers up in the next county. Well done Dave.
thanks
Wow, another great video Dave. You do not disappoint. I know it varies and it is hard to judge but what sort of lead do you give these whoppers? Cheers
a lot depending on speed really
Good shooting Dave one of the best shots in the world clays and game have
A good night by the boy in the video
thanks young man
Fantastic video! Fantastic shooting! What is the most popular over and under used on high birds?
Miroku now i would have thought😉
What's your gun, chokes and cartridge choice in this Dave? Some cracking shooting.
MK60 x MK38 miroku full and full
Amazing Waidmannsheil from Germany 👍🌳🌲
thankyou Sebastian
Hi Dave, same choke and cartridge combination as you used in Llechwyddygarth? I'm intrigued to know if 32g and 34g of 4s can pull the high stuff down through 3/4 choke.
they'll be okay if you put them in the right place, i prefer no less than a 4
Ok thanks Dave. I ask the question about grams as I have a sore shoulder with 36g so need to know if the lower gram cartridges with size 4 pellets are enough for the taller birds.
6:02 А водку-то Смирноff пьют. Правильные охотники :-)
A symphony of colour and some wonderful shots with camera and gun.
thanks John
Dave could watch your videos all day long👍 keep them coming
Thanks Arwel
Amazing shooting Dave
awesome!
Well done sir !! Another fantastic video !!
thanks
You love shaking hands, don't you ...
better than kissing me thinks and a lot safer, you haven't a clue what some of these shooting men have been up to😉
@@DaveCarrieShooting lol
Simply brilliant!
thankyou
Well shot Dave 👍
thanks
Now can you put in a request with the "chap" on top of the hill to maybe point some of those birds down or possibly clip some weights to their legs I don't think I could hit them, iam used to shooting birds in the mouth
i would love to put you under some of these birds, i know full well you would hit nothing, you are a very vindictive person who as nothing better to do than ridicule traditional shooting sports from around the world, you are without doubt a simpleton as can be seen by the way you speak, probably sat at the computer with your trousers round your ankles
All the comments below are about the use of your second barrel. I think you judge it with your first barrel? Make your adjustment and kill it cleanly with the second barrel. Only
Gods shoot like you. i have watched all your videos and seen loads of shooters leaning so far back i thought that they would fall . Never seen you do it,
i aint a god but you are not too far away with your assumptions - thanks for your interesting comments
