A tour of the AI features now available in Nextcloud | Nextcloud Hub 7

AI in Nextcloud is evolving!
From our Ethical AI approach to the industry's first local Nextcloud AI Assistant, Brent offers an overview of AI features in Nextcloud Hub 7.
Special integrations appear in Nextcloud Talk, Mail and Text, with your Nextcloud Assistant also globally accessible via the Nextcloud Hub interface.
Our focus is to build and provide true open source and local AI which is in sync with our values, and our Ethical AI rating system. You now have the option to connect any LLM model you choose: Llama2, Stable Diffusion, Airoboros, Whisper, and many more. These run completely locally on your server keeping your data safe and private from third-party providers. You do, of course, also have the option to enable third-party AI capabilities from remote AI providers such as OpenAI and Aleph Alpha.
The choice is always yours, transparently.

I've been using this for awhile (since way back in the Hub 6 days) with a separate LocalAI instance I'm running. It's been pretty solid. As an AI noob, its funny seeing how different the responses are based on which model I load in. They have some...interesting ones out there.

i finally got mine to work on my instance a few weeks ago. i haven’t really found a good use for it but it’s been fun just playing around with it

I use it to generate descriptions for my videos or help with the script writing process. There are def ways they can make it more cohesive, but I know they're working hard based on the progress I've seen in just a few months @@romayojr

Which model worked best for general use within the Nextcloud environment? openhermes 2.5? mistral 7b 0.2 or some fine-tuned model?
