WWoT was totally excited about NS309 with 2 War bonnets and 3 Tropicana boxcars that made it to Western NY. A lot more NS train action in today's video. At the rate vegitation is growing along the rail lines where WWoT chases NS trains, it won't be long before you won't see the train.
What an awesome catch on that BSNF, CP and Union Pacific Lash up and Tropicana ALRIGHT! Loved watching it live for the first time. Have a great night mate 👍

WWOT, you outdid yourself with this one...take a "breather"!! If double "Warbonnets" and those Tropicana reefers weren't enough, get a load (no pun intended) of the NS triple-header you chased (wow...was that fun!), then a horn salute followed by "boxcar madness"!! Gotta love those manifest / merchandise freights...best show in town! "Alright"!!! 👍👍👍
when i was a kid, i rode the AT&SF El Capitan from Dodge City, through the rockies to Sam Berdoo and back--monster drive units, diner, sleepers, observation car, full deluxe rail riding--those were the glory days. always a thrill to see a war bonnet. good catch.
That was an absolute AAA+++! That train was like winning the lottery of Train video oportunities. I live, my full time address anyways, in Florida and never get to see the Tropicana "juice train" cars. I think I've only saw those once, as a kid, down in Bradenton, FL at the old Tropicana plant. I've yet to see a War Bonnet, and you had 2, a UP, couple of Canadian Pacific's and a BNSF! My hat is tipped in your favor Sir!!

BNSF 726 looks like it had a nasty engine fire. We still get a few warbonnets on BNSF through La Crosse WI. and also get some of the Tropicana mechanical reefers. Pacing shot alright! Nice bookend power with the EOT DPU. What a cool toot salute, every engineer should give you one. Great video, thanks man.
WWoT, you must be SO excited on that double Warbonnet and the 3 Tropicana boxcars catch, I know I was too. You might want to do a top 10 or top 20 catches of 2022, this catch should no doubt make it.
Wow what a lash up on the NS train! Not just the bonnets that wowed me but two CP units, the UP mac and the regular liveried BNSF loco, you certainly know when to be at the right place at the right time! Mega fantastic video sir!

You get quadruple likes on that one what a lashup that was just wow, and tropicana too i have only seen them here once. You got the shave and a haircut 2 bits horn salute, only an old time engeneer would know that. Thats the ultimate in salutes! You were recognized big time. That engieneer knows who you are.

That’s a wacky lash up. Never usually see that everyday. BNSF, Canadian Pacific, and Union Pacific. 2 Warbonnets of which. Pretty crazy

a 2 grey day! surprising you get tropicana up there they normally run from florida to their distro hub in jersey! although from what i've heard tropicana is doing away with their own cars as they get worn out and just renting these cyro-trans cars anymore! seems that's the trend with companies that have their own rolling stock!

I have some trivia for you. The British Columbia Railway was the first railroad to have DPU’S. They used an unpowered B locomotive and put it between the mid train locomotives. The south division has several grades up and down. And ran very long trains. My brother and I went on a special run on a RDC in 1988. It only ran twice a year. You had a choice of June or September. We toke September. It was a eight day trip. We did five photo stops a day. Except for our last day. We did the whole system. The car only had controls on one side so it did not matter which side you sat on. It included all the meals and motel stays. All for only $1000. We had a great time that my parents my parents went the following year. They ran this special for ten years. Now the CN has gotten the railroad. And there is no passenger service any longer. I wish I didn't miss some of these Premieres I just Swapped to being a Twitch Streamer not to long ago and I stream in the Evenings and these seem to be starting right around the Time I have to go Live..... don't change anything WWoT I'll just Watch it later!
That first train appears to be in original Santa Fe colors and does need a paint job

Awesome catch on the warbonnets and the Tropicana cars I'm surprised they're out here as well as far as I know the nearest distribution facility is in either Philadelphia or New Jersey. And I'm guessing that the crew was sweating pretty hard in the lead motor that they had the door open that or the ac was wasn't working or non existent.

Sorry, 2 questions for you, that I'm sure you'll know the answers to; 1. What are all the 2 bay covered hoppers for? I see a long train of them on this video, and have seen either other long trains of them there or long strands of them on GM trains there. Are they all Cement mix? 2. I have seen a lot of mechanical refer cars on GM trains there as well. I never see any in Florida. Why are there so many going through that area?
