This thing is very real don't mess with it . A family friend once played with this game in her home and later that night while she was in her room she could hear someone in the kitchen moving pots and chairs . She heard this constantly every night and sometimes she said you could hear someone knocking on the door they would knock 4 times over and over the entire night . This happened until she finally moved out . So don't play with this it's very real and dangerous . You're inviting an entity in your home you don't know what it's capable of so have some common sense .

I was having a sleepover one time and my friend brought over a ouija board so we played it but after a few minutes my dog woke up started barking,got up and walked to the middle of the room and stared in empty space and kept barking. We stopped after that lol

There hasn't been a Ouija board movie in ages. I'm thoroughly excited. Not because I'm a teenager, but because I'm a horror junkie. I grew up watching horror and while I'm not a fanatic like I am in sci-fi or supernatural (not necessarily horror just myths and scary stuff) I still know a good horror when I see this. It may not be great but it looks good enough.

Got me really upset when I found out that they cut out a lot of these scenes. But honestly, Ouija has to be the best horror movie I've seen. It was pretty scary and not just because of the jump scares. But it's not just the scares that make it such a good movie to me. I love the relationship between Debbie and Laine.

Ouija boards are scary as hell. My family and I played this about three years ago, and after that we began seeing things and could hear the floors creaking from the attic and in our hallways. I don't know if it's me being paranoid after so many years, but that shit is on point. It spells the names of my friends, and who I had a crush on, like I never tell anyone my crushes. :(

I LOVE HOW THEY PLASTERED THAT "it's just a game" with the eye roll back and deep voice on every single trailer so when that scene came in the movie literally everyone was like OMGOMGOMGOMG. Woah woah woah wait! The first time I saw the "Ouija" trailer was when I saw TFIOS, 3 weeks after it came out. The "Ouija" trailer I saw at the movie theater was _waaayyy_ different than the one I'm seeing here on RUclips. The girl "Debbie" heard the smoke detector go off apparently and she went upstairs to go check it out. She got on a chair to turn it off, but when she did something knocked her off of the chair and she fell over the rail and the chandelier fell on top of her. And that's how _she_ died. But on this trailer here Debbie died because she was hung. I think the trailer I saw at the movie theater was a little more scarier than this one on RUclips. Is it possible that they could have changed the script somehow?

There was another film similar to this, it was called _Long Time Dead_ and it too was about students inadvertently unleashing an evil spirit named Djinn from playing Ouija that sets out to kill them, but it's a British film and it was released in 2002, 12 years before this came out.
It's a very obscure film, think some of you might have heard of it.

I know that it's supposed to be a horror movie and all, but 1:34 reminded me of the movie called Haunted House 2 when the demon/ghost or whatever it's called used the "contactors" around the ouija board and spelled out "G-O-S-T." It did made me laugh though.
Saw it last night with a huge group of friends. This was the scariest shit I've ever watched. I was so skeptical about it & I thought it was going to be super cheesy but it was terrifying.
I'm seeing it in like 2 hours and I'm scared out of my flipping mind

Why are people so damn rude? It was really scary to me (I don't watch a lot of scary movies because of the fact that I get scared really easy). If it's not scary to you then that's fine but don't put me down just because it doesn't scare you. It was a fun experience though.

I watched it with my two friends (one of them is 12 and the other one is 14) and the 12 year old really wanted to watch some of the horror movies I have on DVD and during all of the movies she wasn't even a little bit scared while the 14 years old was always screaming and really creeped out

watch "the phillip experiment", it will answer all your questions about how a group of people can experience something that may not exist.
Why would you try that? There is a spirit world that should be left at peace. There are pure and holy spirits, and there is darkness. Calling upon spirits through that method only calls the dark ones and that is dangerous. It is not a game. And it is cruel to yourself and to those spirits.

The board itself (or whatever else you use) doesn't matter. You could use whatever you like, it wouldn't make a difference. The reason some people don't get a reaction could either be that the spirit just doesn't feel like answering, or there might not be one in the house at all.
