I'm a certified personal trainer and former MMA amateur. 5 months of normal diet/exercise for simple lifestyle reasons would give you around 40 lbs of weight loss, assuming you have 40 lbs of extra weight to lose. 5 months of fight training, with anything even resembling fight "camp" style training for 4-6 weeks near the end, would probably result in around 70+ lbs of weight loss ( again, assuming you have 70 lbs of weight to lose, which Ave has ) and that's even accounting for weight gained from lean muscle. If you look at Ave, he looked like he just rolled out of bed and expected to be able to fight. And honestly, I'm not surprised by that attitude. Most of these battle rap guys think they're tough already. They probably genuinely believe that they can win a fight in the shape they're in even though most of them would probably get gassed from 6 flights of stairs.
respectable insight! the blood pressure test last minute - in a crowded area with loud music is weird to me... hopefully Suge learns & shows improvement
Mike my daughters walked in when I was watching this and they said you look like you need to take a nap and “maybe a vacation, he probably works hard” 😂😂❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻
So far the only one I've seen had a reasonable excuse is Ave. It's still wack to not take the training as serious as you should but from what I seen he passed his medical screening, and then once he got to the event he had to do a second check up and somehow that one was not approved.
@iamMikeP Definitely not an excuse. I still laughed about it. How in the hell in 2024, you cant get to New Jersey from PA. stumbles got drunk bum written all over him bro.
kinda expected this from the jump, people who've put on creator boxing events have talked about how much budget they had to put into just organizing training and nutrition for the competitors, and people who took part said it was a huge time investment. It's dope that Suge tried to put this together, but idt anyone in BR has money like that to put towards that kinda event
I knew when i saw 🥷 smoking cigs and backwoods a days before the event that health wise it was gonna get nasty for a lot of ppl. I knew Toni would win solely due to Don talking too spicy. An experienced boxer vs a stay at home dad…the outcome was obvious

High Blood Pressure 3-0
😂💯
Waiting 3 hours for 3 minute fights is diabolical
I never heard of High blood pressure checks before a fight. Also if all these ppl have high blood pressure that’s a convo for another day
It's because fighters are usually professional athletes
The crowd lost 3-0

Haha. As a girl dad yourself I’m sure you can understand 😂
@ I have twins 😂😂😂
I watched some interviews.. it seemed like literally every single one of them didnt want to fight. Even the people that showed up
Every white friend I have and that I ever had and that I just adore being around laughing and joking is the quintessential version of Mike P 😂🎉
Popeyes 3-0

Correction: Stumbles is in PA not NY
Still no valid excuse.

Same Distance
No excuse. Pa, Jersey, Ny is all tri state. You can get on buses, trains etc and nothing should take longer than 2 hours to get to.
