This women is missing the point that JK Rowling fights and argues with people on Twitter within their echo chambers and unhinged opinions. If live your life arguing with trolls and griefers online, don't generalise that to everyone else, and verbally ridicule a trans person who has done nothing wrong and use your online fights as an excuse to do so.
Everyone is a victim if you start fighting people online... god knows what unhinged people will say behind a computer screen

If you 'champion' things like "first openly transgender manager" (paraphrasing) all over Twitter then expect a backlash. He's a straight, biological male who has a wife and a kid. There was no need to promote it in the first place all over Twitter, that way you won't get Rowling tweeting in response, which she has every right to do because this is just a guy managing a football team nothing brave or courageous about it. That's all she has really said.

She literally spoke uninteruppted for over half the video compared to the fifth that the black guy got. It's so frustrating when people cry wolf on genuine issues like this because it undermines cases where it really happens.
Her opinion is just wrong though. I like the way she talks as if all the abuse is coming from trans people and JK's friends and supporters aren't constantly talking about sterilising trans people, encouraging trans people to kill themselves, and publicly talking about how much they'd like to murder trans people.
Will he take liberties by acting as if he really is a woman?
Will he walk into the changing room while the athletes are changing?
Will he hang around the shower area while they're showering to talk about the day's match?
How much power does he have as a 'transwoman', and how much power has his trans identity taken away from the female players (who, lets not forget; wont be able to say much in their own defence without risking backlash to their careers)?
