Ugh... in the West, you are entitled to government subsidies if you LOSE your job, not if you QUIT it! Or isn't it the same in your home country? And as someone having worked in different Southeast Asian countries with local people, and now running a business in Thailand and having local employees: yes, it is a great place to hire people at lower costs than in the West if you want to train them and think long term, but it is not for everyone; not every Westerner is able to lead Asian people. Here, I hear many complaints from non-Thai business people about the Thais, but heard the same kind of complaints when living in Vietnam. OK, you didn't mention Vietnam and Thailand in your video like I did in my comment: fair enough. But the same applies to other Asian countries as well, Malaysia included. And yes: if you are a bad boss, don't count on loyalty from your Asian employees, they will be merciless with you and leave as soon as they can! And Thai people will not even bother to inform you that they want to resign, but just not show up anymore! This has never happened to me yet, but this has happened to plenty of foreign business owners!
