That is such a cute train. Toowoomba has something similar a train that runs every carnival of flowers to spring bluff and back. Trains are always fun.
Hi Imogen 🤗 Toowoomba is a great place and we loved visiting during the Carnival of Flowers 💐 the train trip sounds great…..something we would ❤️ to do!
Hi Beth and Paul. What a beautiful train and train station more amazing views on the way looks a great day out and the prices seem good keep up the good work and see you soon x
We love trains. It's fun . We did a similar one when we were in Sydney's Blue Mountains. Old train railways are timeless and the life blood of any community. Thank you so much for taking us along for the ride. Sending you lots of love 😍😍 Harriet and Jim. Richmond, Va.
@@BethandPaultravel That is so sweet of you. If you ever come to the States. Harriet and i would like to a meet and greet and we could do one Queensland as well. 😊
What a beautiful train and train station. Loved the pianist tonking away at the ivories. Beautiful jacarandas along the way and the beautiful weather., oh to get back to Brisbane to experience various outings from your videos Thank you Beth and Paul 😊
I was sure to forward the link for this video to our train buff son, Michael. He was in Australia a few years ago and did some train related things. I don't think he did this excursion, but I'm sure he would consider it... if he makes it there again. Thanks, David
No worries David, we would love to have a meal in their dining room next time. Apparently they’re doing twilight rides now too which would be great fun too 😊
Wow! More memories 😍. I remember going to Hamilton from Rototuna as a baby and the clickitty clack as the wheels went over the tracks. I would have loved to hear more of the train sounds rather than the piano 🎹😂. So sorry for that bit, otherwise what a lovely video 🙂.
Hi Paul and Beth really enjoyed your trip on the train. Something else we'd like to do when we get back to Brisbane soon 🤞😊. My list of your trips is getting longer and longer 😆
It reminds me the Old Patagonian Express in Argentina. It´s a touristic train in Argentina with a 40 Km long trip from Esquel to Nahuelpan, in Chubut province. Its employs two hours to make this trip. It is very slow. The locomotives and coaches are from 1922, so they are one century old. You pass from the andean patagonic forest in Esquel to Patagonian steppe in Nahuelpan. If you go to Argentina I recommend to take this trip. Additionally there are beatiful places and lakes around Esquel.
Thanks Oscar 🤗 the Old Patagonian Express sounds wonderful! We love train travel, particularly on historic trains. If we are ever lucky enough to visit Argentina, this is something we would definitely do! Thank you for taking the time to tell us all about it 😊
We went on this on Wednesday and it was a lot of fun. We splurged and paid $150 each for the gold class cabin which included a fruit and cheese plate, bottle of water, choice of drink onboard and then a two course lunch back at the station. The markets at Amamoor sold delicious Macadamia nuts and we bought some honey that we’re looking forward to trying.
Wow 😮 that sounds awesome Danielle! We saw people in Gold Class when we did it….and the restaurant back at the station looked beautiful. It’s great to hear that you had such a good time 😊
Hi both, just caught up with the last video and this one. Have really enjoyed seeing the coastline further north as we'd wondered how manageable that would be as a road trip when we finally make it to Queensland on our travels! :) The train ride looked good fun too!
Hi Julie 🤗 the roads to Airlie beach are excellent and we found the trip a lot easier to drive than we imagined. There are lots of great places to stay along the way too. Have a great weekend ☀️
Hi @Noosa Mum 🤗 We think that if they’re old enough to enjoy it, then they’d love it 😊 There were kids in our carriage and they were having a ball. It’s only an hour to Amamoor and then after a picnic lunch and a run around, it’s another hour back to Gympie. As adults, the time flew pretty quickly for us 🤗 We loved it!

Loved your video. I used to take my children on steam trains when they were younger. Would love to have the cheese board as we chuffed along.
Hi Julie 🤗 yes, who doesn’t ❤️ a steam train trip?! The cheeseboards looked great, but were only for the Premium carriage 😋 Thanks for watching.
Great
Thanks Usman 🤗
I loved the pianist melodies in the back ground. Another great Q’land video. Wooh hoo!, thanks Beth & Paul.
Ha ha thanks @Anurquat! 😊 We tried to use music that matched the era of steam trains 🚂 We hope you’re having a great weekend ☀️
