Thank you for your review ❤️ The banners for the concert are prepared by the fandom, so every time it is a surprise for IU 😉 The fandom also chooses the song to sing along before the en-encore 😊
@@merlinzimmerman446 I've only been to one concert in my life (IU's, obviously), so I only have information about it😅😝 I wish you a lot of fun at the next concerts 🥰
Thank you for review🙏. FYI, the kid dancers are from the city that IU performed in. IU HEREH concert has 5 parts. They are Hynotic, Energetic, Romantic, Estatic, Heroic. There is also the En-Encore where she takes songs requests. Another male artist that covered her LWA is EXO DO. He guested on her Palette Ep25. ruclips.net/video/BahC2CxQzD0/видео.htmlsi=XaRRp6fWHhchJSa_ IU most popular dramas are Hotel Del Luna, My Mister and Scarlet Heart Ryeo.
I will have to watch Palette episode 25! Hotel Del Luna is probably my favorite kdrama of all time. The story is great, and IU's clothes are unbelievable!!
Sound in NJ was amazing from my seat, and that makes such a difference. These venues really sell some seats where the sound is uneven. I went to another concert and had that problem - so I sympathize.
FYI, for the whole tour i mean the HEREH con, it's the first time that she didn't have any backup vocals (usually 2 ladies if you gonna watch previous fancams of old IU concerts) The backing vocal tracks (which are recorded ofc) it's her own voice. SHE always records her own backing vocals even at the studio recorded songs (the albums which she produced since 2015)
I think the backing vocal tracks may have been the reason for the difficult mixing and not the best sound. It makes sense if they normally do it a different way, right?
All the child performers were from each of the cities where the concert was held. The little girl at the lead in to Celebrity was not one of the dancers but was also from the local area. The banners were printed and distributed at the concert site by the newly formed US Ueana fan club. Each banner was different and the fan club paid the cost and volunteers handed out the banners. The QR code on the banner will Take you to there site. They did an incredible job. I am sure it cost a lot to print all these banners and helping support them is important. I was interested in your comment about the sound. I was at the concert in Atlanta and was extremely disappointed in the sound quality. IU's microphone at times was to low and her voice wasn't being pushed out front. Meaning their were times, too many times were the band was over powering her vocals. I don't know who the sound engineers were or who they actually worked for. From what I could see they appeared to Americans, and if that is the case they did a crappy job most of the night. I was seat directly behind them and not once did I see any effort on their part to make any adjustments. You can hear these issues in the fan cams. Which is also Interesting because so many of the fan cams from her Seoul concerts sound so good. I have not heard anyone else beside you make this comment. I even posted about this on the US Ueana chat, but no one has replied to it.
@@notsoearnesthemingway582 Live sound is a big problem, expecially since a show like IU's is only there "once". The equipment is set up with crew sound checks, maybe a day in advance, and then the act shows up and does its sound checks with an empty hall, and that is what the crew has to work with. When the audience is in the hall, ALL THE SOUND CHANGES. All the people reduce the echoing in the hall. You might have to double the overall volume, and re-balance the EQ (probably bring up the treble ranges). So the first night is often good/bad. There is a lot of luck involved. Wireless mic systems have their good and bad aspects as well. If there is a second show, then things should go better, but there is still a lot of luck involved.
thanks for the validation! Someone commented here that normally IU has live backup vocalists on stage with her. I think that if they were doing something different this time (mixing live music with prerecorded backup/support vocals and live lead vocal) this may be a reason for the flawed execution. If so, it IS kind of a weak excuse considering Chicago was not their first, second, or even third show in the US... I think we fans were just pleased to finally have IU in the same room!! That itself was really rather thrilling.
Thank you for your review ❤️

I see. thx
Kpop concerts are absolutely their own unique experience.
(I'm seeing two other groups this summer yet!)

I also noticed this but the sound for Oakland seemed to have improved. Hope they saw the comments.
