Happy and surprised that she is coming out as soon as she is. Thankfully after Reed I have a good chunk of stuff saved so it should not hit me too hard really planning on pulling out eh wallet for MonHun collab whenever that drops.

I was a bit hesitant on pulling on the Chongyue banner cause I heard that she wasn't that great...but her module is a game changer. So I'm happy now.
You don't have to feel forced to pull for her tho as she will be added to the standard headhunting pool, except you're also aiming for chongyue. I don't have the leisure to because reed drained all of my orundums and half my originite reserve.
@@96kami31 Yeah I'm rolling for Chongyue. Before it was looking like Chongyue was the only good unit on the banner, but now they'll end up both being very good.

I love seeing this because I liked her kit before the module and then the module fixed any issues anyone else might have had xP.

I have always think that when they shown her shield to be able just straight tank any attack that don't go above a certain point, I have already think that she would be the ultimate anti range unit. And low and behold, with her moldule she just straight up can't die. I do hope Snek woman get the same treatment though, her kit is straight up busted and not that good.

Tank damage and get SP. Like, a ranged, AoE defender. Not terrible but not outstanding either. Very niche/fun
She's not "tank" damage, she nullify them, and her sp from her module

She is easily more reliable than Carnelian. Looking forward to how HG will go about their second module. I have high hopes for both of them.
Side Note: Lin's event will come shortly after the Reed's event, please ready your orrundums/originium and choose wisely. ✨
22 July for Gbl live stream. And I wouldn't say reliable. Carny focuses on DMG and big DMG. While Lin is a high ground defender.

I don't thing Lin needs a second mod tho, current one does exactly everything that she need - more tanking and sp for better skill uptimes, although if somehow they give second mod even more tanking that actually might be interesting, but idk
@@bikerhomi well HG don't give units that need 2nd mod there mods. They give mods to ops they feel like an itch

@@bikerhomidk if you misread him but he said that carnelian needs a 2nd mod not lin. If carnelian get a 2nd mod, that doesn't mean lin will get it immediately too

Yesnt? It’s like penance shield, which blocks set amount of damage. It’s dmg based like penance, a barrier. Not hit based, like mudrock. A shield.
@@Astonthepunk Penance's barrier is effectively overhealth. It can still be depleted by chip damage and scratch damage. Lin's barrier, on the other hand, will COMPLETELY NEGATE ALL DAMAGE that does not exceed 200.

Unlikely. The 2nd most likely focus more on her personal DMG with that talent

It scratches at level 6, with deeper groove at level 7

I don't remember "defense recovery skills" which require the Ops gotten *hit* got charged in "poison maps"
So maybe Lin talent doesn't proc on "gotten hit" and instead "gotten damage", *I guess*

Only times it counts is with IS relics
I think it's the same shield with mudrock, gets hit for the shield and breaks but doesn't count for defensive recovery.

Without any external buffs, 1205 physical damage or 507 arts damage.

Honestly I feel like the way her shield works is a little *too* powerful
she's limited by her damage output which is good but not outstanding
she doesn't need a Hp bar
I recently got lin and saw the consensus online is that she’s supposedly a useless operator and I’m just thinking, like, she’s effectively immune to most damage???
Not all damage can be received by her, Lin is very weak when faced with Arts Dmg & True damage, because Lin has a weakness in her small health & very Low Res
her res is 15. That’s considered high compared to most operators, and that’s also before her trait bonus, which significantly increases it. And yeah, she’s weak to true damage, everyone is, but she’s also one of only few that can possibly negate it at all. Also, it’s a phalanx caster’s job to tank ranged damage specifically so to take pressure off other ranged units that might otherwise be targeted, so who cares if she can’t take melee damage? You might as well say penance isn’t good because she can’t hit arial units and can only sustain on kills. Not her job and not really true. Try again.

If Patriot does more than 200 damage she'll just die. Big damage nukes will bypass the glasswall.
Hoshi reaches 1500 passive def, Carnelian and Beeswax can tank patriot, Lin should be able too

@@kibble-nator she need higher survivability skill still. plus her s3 is gimped from the start with only the highest damage possible by her solo is on just 3 last hit of the skill, if only it was charged to 280% atk from the beginning pr atleast half lf the skill time it would be much much better

with skadi-alter s2 def buff & a healer, maybe shining? lin is invincible (I think I read somewhere, the 200 damage to break shield, is after calculated her defense.. so buffing def to the sky, all dmg will be well below 200, right?)
