Chris - I enjoy your commentary and depth on these topics. From what I am hearing, and I understand where you are coming from just returning from a Princess Cruise in August, all of these changes Princess has done makes your vacation feel more like work than relaxing with excellent service. My family also had the Premier package and I feel like the service, while good, was all about scanning your medallion rather than getting to know who you are and what you like. Dining for us on Princess just always felt confusing and awkward with the constant need for reservations, scanning your medallion, etc. etc. Am I over analyzing this or are my thoughts typical from what you recently experienced? Thanks.
I’m pretty sure you can just order ala carte if you can get a table! Kinda like when you go to Alfredo’s without the package. You can just get a pizza without the prixe fix.
I definitely would have been upset to arrive at the sushi restaurant and discover that it was a limited menu. I agree that you should’ve just been given $45 to order anything off the menu. Really doesn’t make sense.
This ship does not feel like a Princess ship While we have been loyal Princess passengers for nearly 30 years Sun Princess is the worst weve ever been on gone are the intimate rooms now when you sit in are bar all you see is people walking through heading to other places the music is so loud in other venues it can be heard over the top of what's happening in the place your sitting the wheelhouse bar is so small and everyone we spoke to said where is the music for this bar we sat in Crooners to relax but the music from the atrium was so loud you just couldnt have a conversation also it was impossible to get a seat at the main pools because it was crowded every day after flying nearly 30 hours to get to Athens it was so disappointing for us it felt like being on a Carnival cruise ship not a Princess ship
Agree with Kai Sushi restaurant analysis. I personally would just like to have a few rolls instead of the pre fix dinning.
Excellent presentation of everything.

We leave next Monday out of Fort Lauderdale:-) can't wait! Did you try spellbound or any feedback from other Cruisers about spellbound?
We are getting off on Wednesday, but yes, we did try Spellbound and loved it.
@CruiseReport awesome we have reservations Thursday. Thank you for your videos. Hope your safe in this storm🙏
@@jenniesworld9861 The hurricane might change your reservations. We are not supposed to get into FLL until Friday morning now.
@@CruiseReport oh no I hope not.
I love travel stories when sh$t goes sideways. Was the paella any good?
@@Nrustica we did not stay for the lunch.

Would have stayed on that wrong tour and had the free lunch as compensation for the mistake.
Well, that would have only harmed the tour operator, who was really not at fault.
That is a ridiculous program! I would never pay that amount for sushi! I can only eat about 5 pieces on a good day!
