That was helpful thank you . Softening the knees makes a big difference for me ! I think , ideally , setting yourself up to be able to sit and stand whilst preparing food can also be helpful . I don’t currently have a seated bench space , for my legs , I hope to one day !
Thank you, Cynthia! I learned so much from this informative video! Simple observations of ones self such as where the weight is under ones feet, noticing the differences of a rounded, arched and neutral low back and softening the knees makes standing for long periods much easier and with less pain. Also, love tapping the heels and opening the chest with a kitchen towel! Wow you offer such fantastic yet easy applications for ones well being! So grateful for your expertise and excellent suggestions.
How does this work with physical disabilities? I was in a head on car crash 7 years ago. I can't stand for more than 10 minutes. I wish I could stand longer. I can't get to the floor or up without help. Again I wish I could. I'm in Australia, I've never heard of your system before.
The Feldenkrais Method is extremely helpful with recovery from Traumatic Brain Injuries. There are Practitioners in Australia. I recommend finding one and when with them in private sessions if possible.
That can definitely we worked with but more complicated than a video like this. The low back, pelvis, hip joints legs and feet will need to be included. Maybe you can find a Feldenkrais practitioner near you at feldenkrais.com

What about knock knees that tend to collapse in?

Slice sweet potatoes into half inch slices and just use a paring knife to skin them. Like peeling an apple...that action.
soften first by putting in the microwave with half inch of water
