The 11th hour is reffering to Armistice, which occurred when the clock struck the 11th hour. When this occured, soldiers from both sides dropped their weapons and made peace, likewise when Tommy spared the doctor. A smart reference to WW1 indeed, which Tommy himself fought in.
One of the greatest finales I’ve ever seen. Just peak television. I thought the season was pretty slow but it definitely redeemed itself and I can appreciate the different pace compared to past seasons
totally agree with you. really slow in parts, which i didn't mind at all considering this is basically the last time we will be seeing the characters aside from whatever they have planned for the upcoming film. one of the few shows that has a pretty damn satisfying ending overall.
Fun fact. In the very first scene of the very first episode of the very first season of the show, Tommy rode IN on a BLACK horse and on the last scene of the last episode of the last season, he rode OUT on a WHITE one. Coincidence? I think not...it means something 🤔
Amazing attention to detail there. Definitely seems like a transition of becoming pure / redeeming himself. Now we gotta see what happens in the movie!
So around @10:58 you said Tommy knew this was going to happen and asked who is informant was. While it’s possible he knew someone on the inside, he knew they were coming because he set it all up by giving all the info to Billy because he knew he was the rat :)
I think you’re based about Michael he is litteraly saying that everyone around Tommy is controlled by him so it’s hard to leave if Tommy don’t want to. Even is season 4 when Tommy let them all lives their lifes and didn’t intended to tell them to come back they had to return because of the consequences of Tommy plans against Changretta family. Also Polly said again and again and again through the whole serie that she wanted to stop or change the organization for good but Tommy didn’t listened to her because of his ambitions and it leads to her death. Michael had all right to hate Tommy.
Remember Lizzie was the cause of every disaster that happened to the Shelby's. She slept with Changretta against Tommy's orders and then had a jealous tantrum at Tommy's wedding. She got Grace and John murdered, then she baby trapped Tommy. She was always nothing more than a prostitute that got exactly what she deserved - you can't pretend to love your husband and then leave him facedown in a field of mud trying to die. Lizzie was a ridiculous plot disaster which made me quit the show. The writing was AWFUL when they had to re-write ALL of season 6. Season 5 was a true writing disaster. Knight truly lost the plot.
Can't wait for the film to tie up loose ends. Oswald was a real life asshole. And for some reason,i thought the doctor was going to turn out to be Josef Mengele, hence Tommy's unwitting choice to spare him,but thats just my random thought.
Every time I’ve uploaded them they get blocked immediately even after re edits, this is the only one that’s made it through. I’ll keep trying. Still new at this.

The only thing that was missing in this episode is Gina's reaction to what has happened
True I wish they included that. Maybe in the movie!
i'm not satisfied this can't be the ending of the peaky blinders this can't
