thanks! It's impressive that the tab is still up! I bought a Randy Rhodes book off Amazon and it referenced tabs that were supposed to be on the net and they were 404 gone :(
Cool one CARL. to get across the strings. its funny but soloing comes from that very thing. getting across them without mistake makes you more confident and you start to hear, and for me discipline is good. frees you
Randy Rhoads' biography, RANDY RHOADS written by Andrew Klein and Steven Rosen is being released and on Saturday, September 8th 2012, at 3pm, Book Soup, located at 8818 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, is having a book signing with special guests Randy Chambers: musician and Randy Rhoads tribute artist, and authors as well. Thanks for the lesson iam a huge randys roads fan idk how you read tgese how much time u have to veiw stuff I just uploadwd a paranoid remix and I,d really like somw feedback from a professional its under 99bkp I explained how in the description
Right on, man...I have NO idea what that dude is talking about...I mean, I CLEARLY heard you play the riff first...maybe he skipped it? Maybe his internet connection just jumps? Nice lesson...keep it up!
Those up strikes don't feel comfortable where they are., can I change that a bit without Pick Police knockin my door down or is that how it needs to be done?
He disagreed with you and YOU blow up into an immature moronic rant and call HIM touchy. Projecting much? Randy Rhoads is amazing, and revered among guitar players. You can't call someone under rated when 90% of metal guitarists consider him to be in the top 3 best of all time. I don't think I've met a metal guitarist who had an ill word for Randy Rhoads, and I know I've never met one that didn't know who he was.
Missed two notes ! =D Just kidding, when you're in front of a camera, you become another guitarist, it's strange how it's hard to concentrate when you feel like being ... watched =P Or is it just me ?
@bnbfalcon First let me preface this statement by stating that Randy was an amazing guitarist and one of the most influential guitarists in rock history. That being said the only reason that Jake E Lee sounds anything remotely like him was because Ozzy told him to. Listen to Jake in Badlands and see if his playing even remotely sounds anything like Randy. IMHO Jake is a better guitarist in terms of feel and not necessarily technical ability although Jake has great technique.
He used so many scales & arpeggios... And blended them so well. Genius. Rip St Rhoads
This lesson was the one lesson that totally unlocked my lead soloing after 30 years of noodling. Thank you so much!
@kewlmark72 Link to the TAB is in the video's description. :)

@Mezzo915 You're not the only one!
great lesson on randy how about george lynch stuff Keep on rockin in the free world thanx
His solos are almost impossible to play, don't believe me try to play the solos on Mr. Crowley and Revelation Mother Earth
cyansaint agreed. Even if u get the notes right its quite impossible to play it with the same emotional effect as he does.
cyansaint it’s crazy how he’s able to put so much emotion into his playing even though he’s playing so fast
They were to me too so I just made them my own with emphasis on the main riffs You got this
Took a week but I play Revelation Mother Earth quite well now RIP Randy

***** If you can find a way that is comfortable to you and still sounds great why not. No rules here. :)
i hear a airplane hahaha good lick man
Hi, I'm Dr. Chapatín.
Thanks I needed that ….better than a v8
never mind, I'm dumb. show more shows the link. thanks.
cheers,
Kirk Hammett uses this lick in his Rebel of Babylon solo. I just noticed this and thought it was cool.
@aidenmccloskey agreed. rip
Whare are the tabs?????????????
thank you
Nice lesson dude. I have a randy rhoads style backing track in F#m on my channel. These licks sound awesome over it.
@aidenmccloskey LOL I totally agree with you man
@aidenmccloskey Trying to compare Randy with Heart or the Cars. I got chunks of guy's like him in my stool.
how can u play licks fron randy with a strat.
Doesn't matter what guitar as long as it sounds good
+Ramp Agent with ease
Because the Fender Stratocaster is the superior guitar to all others.
John Clarke evidence?
Ramp Agent with your fingers.
HAHAHA!!! :)
wow the beginning there sounds like mr crowley. : )
Randy was also a great composer and would have changed music's direction had he lived longer.
id dont think that hes underrated? people just dont know who he is cause he passed away after being with ozzy for 3 years
@aidenmccloskey well said
Hey everybody, I'm Dr. Nick.
Can't follow it without tab.. dude!
thats somthng i already would play 4 sum time now.
More peppers stuff
@Mezzo915 i know what you mean, i've been playing for 7 years but screw up in front of cameras like a noob
He disagreed with you and YOU blow up into an immature moronic rant and call HIM touchy. Projecting much?

Or is it just me ?
This sounds more like the solo to Love Gun by Kiss...
except i played it btween the 12 and 14 frets
All these online guitarists have such long pinkies, it's unfair!
jajajajajajajajajajaja
lol im el chavo
pick up the pace. randy rhoads is not beginner guitar!
@aidenmccloskey Oh God, he's NOT underrated.
@aidenmccloskey Not under-rated with me.
