Thanks Warren.
The cool thing about those 57 rip offs (like the pyle or behringer) is that they don't have the transformer so it reduces the output by about 10db and you don't need a pad for close micing a guitar cab.
Dude I didn’t know that and now I do!!!
Hope you dig my own mic locker Ha!
Thanks for turning us onto the EV 667A. Your boy Cole has a helpful A/B comparison video versus the RE20. I read that the 668 is the same mic but has cut/boost circuit/switches.
Yeah I checked that out and wowza OG kinda sound bigger and open 🎉
So I’ve picked up a a beta 98 and draped it right above the kick beater and Bam!!! Instant, perfect click, without trying to EQ the click into the inside mic!!! I also picked up one of the RadioShack 33-1070D, dynamic omni mics, that Shure made for them. Apparently, RadioShack wanted to compete with the EV RE-50. They almost look identical to each other. I’m going to try that mic, paired with my other dynamic Omni, the EV 635A, under the snare drum, for the Moses Schneider, “Snareo” effect!! He uses 2 omni, small diaphragm condensers, but I don’t have those, so I’m going to try it with dynamics. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Oh Man now that’s a set up with some true secret Sauce Ha!
Glad to see you starting your own channel!! I was really digging you on "show us your junk" and checking out your other videos since. It's so refreshing to see a normal dude and his passion on the youtube.. I'm real space impaired and I saw you went down to a single room. You're getting the work done and rocking in a space that doesn't look very large. I was wondering the size of your room.
Appreciate the message and support! I’ve moved to a lager studio and barely of last 2 weeks started tracking again. I’ll be having some new videos coming out soon.
Looking forward to showing off new studio.
@@mannysmiclocker Nice! And congrats on the move!
Love it! I'd love to have an RCA BK5A/B but I think the newer AEA KU5A's get you in the ballpark. Might pick one up soon.
Man I’d love to get one of those too and do tell once you get it how it sounds!!
It's a real pleasure watching your videos Manny. I gotta track down one of those shure sm-98 and the sm7. Thanks very much Manny, great as always
Thrilled once again J you enjoyed my Man!!!
Ease up on the d1000 they're still cheap! lol. No guitar amp demos
Ha I will ;)
You might try and post your videos at a different time see if that helps, i play gigs and your timing, I don't watch alot of your videos because of that.
I don’t time and only release when I’m not at a session so that may explain timing . Thanks for heads up.
It really shouldn’t matter as long as you are subscribed and have the bell clicked. I don’t miss a video at all. And I watch at random ass times.😂
@@TheGarageRecordingSC it seems when you uploads is when I'm at my gig, or just not the right time. I do watch him on the tv alot, alot easier than just phone. Right now I'm about to go on a 2 mile walk, just finished supper... made it half way through his vid. I want to watch more of his stuff it just doesn't seem the right time for me...
LOVE your videos, Manny! If we can scrounge up the funds we're coming in! As for posting you can schedule your videos to go live at a later/more popular time for your channel if it helps with your schedule @@mannysmiclocker
@@mannysmiclocker I don't know if it's me, but I see your post and think I want to see it but not right now. If you have community, post asking good time. It could just be me and my time schedule. But tomorrow I'll be at my gig 5-7 Oklahoma time. I'm living on Tulsa time...
