- We went Christmas camping on a weekend when the weather was getting colder.
We warmed ourselves with a kerosene heater and an open fire by the waterfall and the winter trees whose leaves had completely fallen off.
For Christmas dinner, we cooked a stew on the kerosene heater.
We had a great time reflecting on the past year.
The unique winter scenery was beautiful and very healing.

We are a family of three: husband (Shin), wife (Ayako), and daughter (Yuri), both around 40 years old and our only daughter.
We bought the campervan of our dreams, the Corde Leaves, so that our daughter could have a variety of experiences!
We will enjoy our hobby of outdoor activities, such as camping, staying in the car, mountain climbing, and fishing, while traveling all over Japan.

I too love trees without leaves. I have 10 black and white photos of them. Also pictures of them with frost on them. Second, I love waterfalls. Man made or natural. The sounds are so soothing. And lastly, I love how Yuri reacts to the dessert. We have a a dessert here called strawberry short cake. As always stay safe and warm.
I love this little family. I have watched tens and tens of their videos. But, as a woman, I recognize that this is only a vacation for the dad and child. The mom is working as hard as she ever does at home. No surprise there.
