Good matches but I'm so sick of the 50%+ fatal blow mechanic. So boring.
Love watching this stuff particularly in the arena but it’s too bad the player’s only play for money. If they played for style then more people would watch, the more people that watch the more money they'd get.
Ummm.... not everyone in the league plays for the money though........ I'm in the league and I don't play for the money.

I never said everyone plays for money. If I’m not mistaken you’re one of the mods and or a constant contributor to R1ps so you playing in this setting in particular wouldn’t automatically put you in this “everyone” category that you came up with. I said “the players” going off what R1ps himself was commenting on during the video meaning the top tear users or a repetitive character lineup between players i.e everyone using one cameo or character because they’re “the best” when in reality it’s the players leaning on easy or broken characters instead or mastering a character with a skill set that makes them stand out and is fun to watch because no one else can do what they do. Take prize fighting for example, the cookie cutter fighter might make it a ways but the ones that make a lot of money have a certain attribute that makes them stand out and make people want to watch.
My approach to these types of games is this: Either strive to put on a good show or don't play at all. What XUOSTICS did was not manly. The cheap combos are disgusting. Reminds me of 8-bit NES fighting games.

So guys where is the actual tournament? I see just 4 random matches
The tournament is 6 weeks of qualifying exhibition matches and the top 32 players with the most points runs a double elim bracket on week 7.
We are currently in week3 of the qualifiers.

@@alexyoung3436Gotcha, I can see where the confusion is, but the league season is the $2000 Tournament as a whole. So he puts that there showing what the prize pool for the season. 👀
