@@coldsixthousand1 the thing all of y'all complained about is gone and that's his chip damage it's reduced and you can poke out of his unsafe pressure before kano hits you or you can armor out of it or even flawless block to take no chip at all and Raiden has gaps in his strings and three of them are unsafe and his main string is trash you can fuck under his last hit and get a full punish off it

Roethor has always been the hero 🔥🔥🔥…I remember during mk11 , he was the first to beat “arena is free” too . Love his Quan chi gameplay. And Shag tsung too 🔥🔥🔥
I’ve been playing Quan for a while, and, his buffs are my favorite thing to come out of the last patch, he’s so fun, and watching that fight live, between Roethor and B, that was EPIC👌💯🔥
He is absolutely a better character for sure, and I am very happy they did something to help him. But as a Quan player as well, i feel like what he really needs is a complete change on that down 1 frame data, it is so slow that it cant even punish other characters down 1. Taking a turn back with Quan at times feels near impossible.
Always cheering for Roether. He’s so good with Quan (and Rain)! On a good day, I think he could beat any of the big names like Sonicfox/Ninja/etc. Also love when Bulk is on commentary. Always cracks me up. 😂

Smoke indictment on display. Merk had to switch to get competitive. The cancels are cool but still tough to open up seasoned players since b2 overhead is reactable. At some point there is no ROI on the cancels. Love smoke but he needs an above average kameo to be close to viable in top tier comps.
Really sad they buffed a pure zoning character. It’s the most boring part of the game and they made Quan Chi so good at it he’s now a contender for any pro competition. Makes it very boring to watch
He not a "pure zoning character." People were getting smoked using Quan purely for zoning. Roether has very clearly displayed Quan's setups rather than just shooting skulls across the screen. Quan Chi is more entertaining now than he was before and he's finally viable. If anyone's boring, it's Raiden and Reiko.
If the opponent is standing within the portal for like two seconds, it gives Quan Chi armor for a second. The normal portal gives Quan armor once, but the enhanced portal stays for much longer and gives Quan armor up to three times.

Roethor is just on a whole different level with Quan Chi, it's scary honestly. And he's running Jax, which almost no one else is.
