*This is exactly what I needed for trimming the edge of oak boards **MyBest.Tools** I also used the disk to round edges while building an oak - walnut cabinet.*

You learn something new in sharpening every day! And when you read this you will learn to NOT strop at the same angle as you sharpened. If you sharpened at 20°s you need to strop at about 18°s. The leather "wraps around" the apex of the blade dulling the freshly sharpened metal, if it is set to the same angle as sharpening because the leather has more give to it than the sandpaper belt. Happy sharpening!

The concept you are referring to of dropping the angle by 2° typically applies to hand stropping because you are moving SLOW.
When using belts moving at 20-30mph there is much less need for a drastic angle change. Food for thought!

This is very cool . I have what's called "Universal Angle Guide" from Surgi - Sharp. At first glance it looks like yours but it can not be set to "Blade Away From Belt"...
Are you in the business selling those, like the one you showed in your video, Is so how much? An where about are you located? I'm in Montreal Quebec Canada.
I think yo said to one of your viewers that you make both kind... I might be interested if the price is right... Thanks.
