    Hi Friends!
    In this video I made sequential Led turn signals. Circuit diagram is in the video. I made this for motorcycle. It have 1 ground and 2 positive wires for left and right turn signals. It can be installed with the existing indicator flasher.
    Components are:
    1) BC547
    2) 220R Resistors
    3) 680R or 1k Resistor
    4) 12k Resistors
    5) 470uf Capacitor
    6) Leds
    7) 1N4007 Diode
    Watch how I made this on breadboard.

    I really like it! :)
    But I can't quite make up what the diode is for. Is this infinitely expandable? Also, is it possible to make the LEDs turn off al at the same time, instead of them fading out?

    • @techideas6772
      @techideas6772  4 года назад +7

      If all leds turn off after running it would be called led chaser. I've a video on led chaser.
      ruclips.net/video/mzxe0HaOAXQ/видео.html
      If you don't use diode the leds will not flow and may be only first led run. Diode is used to complete cycle of leds.

    • @techideas6772
      @techideas6772  4 года назад +3

      Capacitor also depends on the speed of flow but discharging resistor (that I used 680R in the video) depends more for led flow. If you use more than 3 leds in series or parallel with one transistor then you need to install bigger capacitor.Just change the 680R resistor to 1k or 2k variable resistor & set speed to your own choice.

      Capacitor is used for the flow of LEDs, bigger the capacitor value flow will be slow. 220R is used to protect LEDs for over current, you can use 330R and 10k for transistors. For 680R or 1k resistors you have to set the value of resistor to own to discharge the capacitor in such way that LEDs flow sequence is good.
