- Caspar wanted a hairstyle inspired by several images of Johnny Depp, including "young Johnny Depp" in the 90's. Dan helped Caspar to work with finer hair, and tailor a mixture of his favourite parts of Johnny Depp's haircuts over the years to give Caspar his own version of the cut.

I am so happy to see that these more natural softer hairstyles are coming back in. Ive never had a skin fade or one of those cropped haircuts a lot of lads are getting these days. The Di Caprio and Depp days are on the way back, praise the lord.
Understandable mate , but the dicaprio and depp style suit only a few lucky guys who have slim face and good face features what about the more manlier lads ? With wider face nose and all that sadly the skin fades suit mostly all types
What we love is it seems more people are just going for the cut they want! No set trend, just a variety of different styles and lengths. Short, medium length, long. Fades, mullets, braids, curtains. Doesn’t matter, and that’s great to see! At the end of the day, whether you use a celebrity for inspiration like Caspar did or not, it’s always about finding YOUR haircut!

The best advise my humble street barber gave me was never copy a celebrity haircut cause your head is not his , do it base on the size of your head.
Your barber gave great advice! Use the elements you like (and even potentially dislike) from a celebrity cut and tailor it to you. Good communication, always show photos, and have realistic expectations too! And then nothing wrong with trying to use any cut as inspiration!

He literally went in, and said I want a 90s Johnny depp cut, WHILE ALREADY HAVING THE HAIRCUT just a bit longer. Please do a video on how to cut this hair when someone has shoulder length hair or like hair that goes down to your chin or just past your chin.

Hello Regal, I was wondering if this haircut is achievable with a wavy/ very slightly curly-ish hair and on the thicker side but not too dense so it can fall if I have a long length I don’t know if it’s just my haircut but my hair tends to not be as easily maneuverable and can be poofy, but if I were to grow it out to say this length (or longer) could I be able to wear this, maybe with some sort of product? And what would I have to tell my barber? I’ve been told I look like a young Johnny depp that’s why 😅

Am I the only one who has stupidly flat hair after wearing a hood for even just a few minutes? As in, it looks like my hair in the shower (when you stand underneath the shower head and there’s no volume to your hair) but dry if that makes sense.
