the one with the Dig turns sharper But you removed it!! LOL..... my scx10 3 Gladiator transmission runs like a Swiss watch smooth as silk no clicking at all, it's to bad you never got to experience a good one without the clicking..
I love your testing videos, love my pro waiting on my new body after two years of driving my pro million miles, friend of mine in Maryland painted me A new body it is in the mail since Monday can’t wait to see it with the new Treal Titanium Rims
Guessing it needed the smaller tires for the Crack-o-doom for the lower cg. Both were very impressive with the smaller tires. I'd be hard pressed to choose a clear winner all around. Great comparison video..
Exo love the channel brother! But with all that brass on the 10.3 and the fact a bone stock vs4-10 on straight axles was on its toes the whole time was impressive! Maybe try the 10.3 against the ultra? Make it portals vs portal. Or even better a portal rig battle!
I think if he removed some or all brass from the rear axle of the 10iii it would perform even better. No brass back there unless it’s to prevent tipping on descents is the way to go in my opinion. Rad video as usual 👍🏻
As fair as it gets !!! 🧐..... Looks to me like the difference between VS410 PRO - Straight Axles, and then the SCX10 III with portals, and weights.....🤔.. I see they both have their own approaches to each obstacle !!!! Pretty darn cool EXO !!! 👍😁🤘Great Action with both rigs !!!! - Thanx !!! 🇺🇸
I would be curious if you could provide estimates on costs for the two rigs... They perform both very well, but clearly there is money in the 10.3, although the vanquish is out-of-the-box relatively expensive.
Not sure that’s a fair comparison , as you said the SCX10.3 was highly modified & the Vanquish was stock. I think a stock to stock with the same tires would be a better comparison.
I was wondering if you could tell the best performing brushless motor esc combo for trailing with a trx4 defender since its so heavy, i cant seem to find a good match and my stock 21t titan motor is constantly overheating. I was looking towards a hobbywing fusion system, wondered if it would have overheating problems too and if it was ok at +40 to -40 degres celcius cause here in Canada we tend to have four seasons in one day😂
I'll link you the rule site. Remember though, club event organizers are free to adjust them as they see fit, so you will have to check the event regulations. www.sorrca.com/rules.php?fbclid=IwAR1Yu1buh6_A4IzQgHTjtL_SeMWFHWE0cZFgh5CyloWySBJ8B3TyS-YTdCk
I mean yeah but also the 10.3 is almost half the price for a RTR as the 410Pro for a Kit without any electronics. When you add the stuff you need to make the 410Pro just work you're well over twice the price. Hardly comparable.
I'm interested to know the price of the 10.3 with all of the upgrades vs the price of a stock 410. And for a more comparable test, use the same motor/esc combo. The race basically showcased the motors.
Just shows that with metal axles, all the brass, a different transmission and no caged interior…the 10.3 is still terrible. Works well with the long wheelbase gladiator though.
Did we watch the same video haha the scx10 iii didn't seem to do that terrible to me. I do agree the Gladiator platform performs quite well with the longer wheelbase
@@thomasvanderpool4735 Yes, we watched the same video. Ok, you want an option? Imo the 10.3 isn’t great. It definitely needed the transmission swap, check. The battery location could be lower, the suspension definitely needs lowered with the 4.19s, and take the brass off the rear. And why doesn’t Joe ever use flat skids on his builds that don’t use a capra tranny? With a lower CG it shouldn’t lift so much and walk the vs410. I watch all of his crawling videos, i love the information and content he brings, its just my opinion.
Both rigs rock! I love my 10.3, which is modified as well.
Yeah. I thought it was close but had to give it to the 10.3
the one with the Dig turns sharper But you removed it!! LOL..... my scx10 3 Gladiator transmission runs like a Swiss watch smooth as silk no clicking at all, it's to bad you never got to experience a good one without the clicking..
Vanquish 410 wins for me to say its stock it performed as well
I’m curious to know the body weight difference and the weight bias on the 2 rigs.
Didn’t know the 10.3 had a garbage trans. Glad I went straight for the vs4-10.
It is just "Anyway" Anyways isn't a word. Good video.
well anyways sometimes I say it

Why not make a plate beside the servo and put the esc there and the battery on the side with the vs410

He never compares 2 rigs that are even close to the same. They are always 2 different type of rigs
I think if he removed some or all brass from the rear axle of the 10iii it would perform even better. No brass back there unless it’s to prevent tipping on descents is the way to go in my opinion. Rad video as usual 👍🏻

Great comparison I'd go VS4-10 Thanks for the video
Enjoy the content, many thanks for all the effort.
Cheers!!!
Awesome buddy I just bought a set of those wheels the new titanium got them on my pro with the new KLR/M’s 4.19’s

Awesome video, thank you 👍🏻 Try removing the brass from the rear axle of the 10iii. Bet it would be a different animal. A 410 destroyer
awesome comparison, respect to the axial, but that vanquish is mint!
I’m getting ready to build a Gspeed truck with all vanquish parts
Should be a great build
I am looking to do a G speed build soon. Just haven't made my mind up on which axles and transmission I want to use yet.
That Axe system is a tank for that lighter Vanquish, SCX10iii def had CG advantage with Vitavon axles.
I'm really surprised about steering. My vs410 steering radius is crazy tight.
Man i love the look of these rigs, both are a tight match, keep making those sweet videos, you're awesome Joe✌️🛻
How are you liking that vanquish truck.
front bumper on the jeep isnt class 1, not as wide as the widest part of the windshield
Where is that course!? I want to go!
10.3 for the win 🙌 💪 👏 😎
Would these not be class 2?
In North Dakota, have friends that moved to Jville wants to check out the Exoplex. ??
Both are awesome rigs!! But I love my pro it is my go to rig
Nice. Have you had any trouble with a zeeee lipo battery?
Really a good job !
One question: total budget is greater for Vanquish or for SCX 10 III upgraded ?
Not sure that’s a fair comparison , as you said the SCX10.3 was highly modified & the Vanquish was stock. I think a stock to stock with the same tires would be a better comparison.
Hey exo I was wondering where you get your white shelves from? I'm im need of one.
Ive seen some like those at harbor freight (if theres 1 near u).
You can get them at home depot or Lowe's also.
How fast will a 2600 kv 550 motor go in the axail ryft.
Vanquish all day long!! And you don’t have to replace every part to get the performance 👊🏽😎
That is true!
for the price ...

I would love to see the 10.3 vs a trx4. Is the sportish more modified than the 10.3. Where do I find class specifications for crawlers?

what's the 1500mah battery in the 4. 10?
It is a Zeee 3s 120c. Really nice batteries for the low price.
Do a review on the yetti jr can am please I need a better review
Where's the trx4 bronco?
Yes you sure did
Nice rig!!!!!
Vs410 pro is waisted on the class one tyre imho
your face like wwe chris benoit hahahah
To make this a more fair test you need to take all the brass off that scx10iii and leave the axles. This is not a accurate test
Its not about how they are stock obviously both are modified
You said the 410 was box stock come on now
10iii
Debatable result...
Have my doubts if a box stock 10.3 can rub shoulders with a 410Pro.
Conclusion is, wanna be competitive, go the Vitavon way!
