- Fencer Nzingha Prescod became the first African-American woman to win an individual medal at the Senior World Championships in 2015. In this short documentary, we see her training and hear her thoughts on her way to compete for the United States at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Filmmaker Anderson Wright brings us closer to Prescod, where we learn that she was named after a warrior queen from Angola-and see her show kids everywhere that nothing is impossible.

The beauty of competitive disciplines, no matter what they are, if you're good - you're good and nobody can take it from you.
Great film. I am extremely proud. She really is an inspiration and I love her name.
Even if you don't medal, that doesn't mean you haven't accomplished anything. That is the real lesson. The discipline, hard work and sacrifice are not in vain if you do not take the gold. Everyone is striving for that. Only you know if you have given your all. I'm sure your coach is proud of your effort and sportsmanship. Our society gives us the impression that only our effort determines the outcome. As if we will only try if guaranteed success. That is not the lesson. Do your best and be satisfied with your effort. This young lady seems to have already won in life, even without the gold.
