Alot of things went wrong only because you use your equipment on a daily. I bet you owned alot of the equipment for 5-10 years minus the diesel heater. You have the knowledge, tools and the skills to push through. It's a great story/content and the reality of actually using your gear for many years vs these you tube overlanding guys that have a new toy/jeep every year. (Brad, trail recon channel) thank you for sharing !!❤❤❤
How much fluid were you losing? Top it with water. Pour all your pepper in. Maybe a raw egg. Keep driving and watch your temp guage. Top up as required. I dont think towing was necessary. I may be wrong though.
Being able to work on your own equipment should be a requirement to overland, can't depend on YT to get you out of a bind on the trail. Also smart travelling with 2 vehicles just in case.
Look's like you're quite a mechanic from watching your videos, I guess that's a plus when overlanding. I thought you might be interested by this youtube video by a renown logger `` Buckin' Billy Ray Smith`` from BC and show's how to tune a chainsaw. I hope you enjoy. ruclips.net/video/G4X0TfGaOwo/видео.htmlsi=FrSqTv2WKjx-zZTZ
Oh Brother!!! Well done on the trail attempts... So glad you had the extra tow vehicle to get yourself out... Well done you two!
Many ask why we take two Jeeps... that there is the reason why 🤷♂️

You are correct, and of course there is nothing like cold temperatures for finding the weak links in your equipment 🥶

I had it pretty close to that point at one time but it was pouring out faster than I could pour it in 🤷♂️
That's just a typical usual trip I would have.😊
It’s always an adventure, right? 👍

That’s exactly why I always have my battery powered chainsaw as backup.
I have been thinking about going electric but I don't know how well they work at -10?

You are correct, you have to be able to rely on yourself in the backcountry.
