Amazing review! I've had the guitar for a week but ultimately had to send it back. Couldn't intonate the B-string correctly, it was off by a few cents and the hipshot bridge part was at maximum range. Also the fretboard inlays... I loved so much about the guitar (the look, the neck, the weight, the pickups), but the inlays are just extremely bad. I could *barely* see them with good lightning playing in my room. I can't even imagine playing this guitar live or in a darker room, it would be impossible to see the markers. Also no luminous markers on top of the neck... for a now 1900€ (hello price increase) guitar. It's a pity, I really liked the guitar otherwise.
Just my 2 cents. Great review though, hope to see more of your channel in the future!

I've been playing nothing but seven strings since 2002, I've just never had a multi scaled one. I'm looking at this one though. I've been using a Hellraiser C7 since 2008. Seven strings are nu metal btw (KoRn, Limp Bizkit, Fear Factory etc). Eight strings are djent.

very interesting review , I think for the price they can adjust the fingerboard and install 7 string pickup , these are too big for sure and how to set the radius string alone ??? beautiful guitar but .....I'm right with you

The reason they (and many other manufacturers) use 8 string pickups in 7 string multiscale guitars is to make sure the low B and high e are always in the magnetic field of the pickups' blades, otherwise only the top coil's blade would pick up the low B and the bottom coil's blade pick up the high e. And yes, blade is the correct term here, the fishman moderns use blades instead of pole pieces for consistent interaction between the strings and the magnetic field of the pickup.

@@Coles-bootleg-vidsThis is entirely correct. A multiscale 7 requires offset coils to compensate for the slant. Soapbar pickups obviously don’t come in slant config so it will have to be a wider one.
