You are an amazing young man Cormac! You’re going far because of your talent and your heart…..the fact that you love to sing is obvious! So lovely that you’re thinking about other boys who have changing voices! I’m amazed by not only your voice and how it is becoming an adult voice, but your heart that tells you to help others who are going through the same thing you are. You have a lifelong fan here! I’ll always follow you! You’ve touched me deep in my heart!❤❤❤

Thx for this great initiative of yours, Mr Thompson. I've forwarded this link to my four grandsons who still sing regularly, in Queensland and in BC. My youngest son, a former Winchester chorister, was fortunate to have been a music student at his senior school in Wells when his voice transitioned. From my own experience as virtually a full time treble chorister at Westminster, I recognise the near trauma of having a 6-yr semi-professional "career" end abruptly, just as one enters the already hormone-induced bizarreness of adolescence. Both my youngest son, and I 50 yrs earlier, benefitted hugely from the counselling and voice training provided (even back then, in my case) by schools which are designed especially for young choristers. Few boys have such an advantage. Your podcast is a valuable tool in aiding these boys cope with this angst-ridden and often dramatic transition from being a centre of attention, a broadcast and record royalty earning young musician, to being a spotty, weedy, clumsy pile of puberty 😂. Mr Thompson, you are truly a son of whom any parent (and grandparent) would be proud.

What an amazing and generous thing to share Cormac. I'm sure you've had moments when the change was tougher than you expected but, clearly you have wonderful support from those around you, especially Mum, Dad and other family members. I've no doubt there will be other boy singers who will see/hear what you share who, will quietly think yes I remember that or, now it makes more sense, and now I understand.
    Best wishes for the future.

Thank you Phil I definitely think if I can share what it was like for me then I can at least try to help other young singers and their followers understand it all a little bit more too 😅

🎉Cormac, you’ve done a great job with this. I was at a major music event last week and had the opportunity to share this with a couple of parents of young performers your age. I enjoy your music, past and present. Best wishes!

GREAT 💗 I loved this 1st podcast, your story is so touching. I knew her a little but the fact of being in a conversation with others really adds to the understanding of all the different stages that you went through with great success. You were there at the right time but it's no coincidence for me you started a mission to help other boys get through this milestone and it was like "already written" your sensitivity and your natural empathy do not is not there by chance either.
You don't yet see the treasure inside you. Keep your feet on the ground because when it's time, when you're ready, things will take off for you. You have such wonderful parents, everything is really fluid, you are "real" and nowadays this authenticity is so important , this sincerity that you have Alison (with a very cute voice) and you Cormac who experienced this change which is, in fact if I understood correctly, an EVOLUTION that you managed perfectly.
In any case, Bravo, it's a very successful podcast for a first, the intervention of the "specialists" is excellent. Your story is fascinating and the good news is that it has only just begun.
I'm looking forward to the next one 👏 🤗😘😘😘

Merci beaucoup Christelle 😀 I really wanted to try and help people who enjoy treble / not soprano singing to find out just a little bit more about it all 😀😀

So just you. Cormac, always thinking of others. Your fellow boy singers, especially. If the world was filled with such compassionate, kind people as you, what a wonderful world it would be. Proud to support you 🥰
