GOD THE RESURRECTOR:
God the Father is the only one never to die. God resurrected Jesus, and everyone will be resurrected into eternal life or into eternal damnation. But the power and spirit that resurrects belongs to God the Father alone. God's power and spirit within Jesus is what raised him from the dead. God the Father, the Redeemer and LORD of hosts, said in Isaiah 44:6; “I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.” Yes, God's power and spirit controls Jesus's entire being; his every word and action (John 12:49-50). This is why Jesus said the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do (John 5:19).
It is God’s power and spirit alone that takes control of Jesus; and it is that same power and spirit of God the Father that must be in us if we are to reach His kingdom.
