I like craftsman/mission style with a combination of eclectic and ethnic items. I like art and have a gallery wall by my bed that includes African masks, Lucia Heffernan prints, Picasso, Munch, and Van Gogh.
I like soft textures, such as velvet. Plush comfort. Lots of wood tones. I'm not into a lot of metal unless it's black iron accents.
I like candles, music, books, and movies. I enjoy crafting, especially cross stitching, and writing.
I prefer more organic colors - sands, sage, nothing bright and flashy. I like calm and soothing colors, sounds, smells, and textures. I want my environment to envelope me in warm comfort.

Besides out of control regular prices , I now find Hobby Lobby decor to stark and contemporary for my taste. It feels like the decor belongs in an office not a home. Which is good, since it saves me a ton of money. I find Home Goods much more my taste. Lots of options and colors and textures and styles.

Love your channel and your style! I have such a love hate relationship with Hobby Lobby - their 50% off just seems like it means items will be what a regular price would be at Target or Home Goods, and their full price is often ridiculous! All that being said they have come such a long way with offering more styles than just farmhouse, sometimes you can find some real unique gems.
I completely agree with you! I have been super picky about what I actually purchase now but I love that they are offering more styles!

I used to shop more at Hobby Lobby but unless they have a sale going I don't.They have started to have more items besides Farm House.I did like alot of the prints.Thanks for the video.

I've always done neutrals but I think it's went to neutral 😐 I do need some color.
Try some greenery! Or flowers for spring 🌸 It's fun to add a pop of color in a pillow, wall art, or a vase!
I've done all of the things you can do, decorated a few homes and many apts in my 68 yrs. I see moody colored rooms are in now! I only chose what I like &you know it works!
