I purchased this Small Block Chevy rebuild program for a 14 year old young man who has consistently shown focused interest in not only engine building, but in the overall repair, and maintenance work on a number of pieces of vintage equipment ! This program was done as a gift for him ! I can't think of a better way to put a massive smile on that young man's face ! Thank you again Lee ! Your program's worth is well beyond the price of administration ! I HIGHLY recommend it folks !!! 😎
I'm 52 years old and have been tinkering with small block Chevy motors since I was a young 18 year old with a 1979 Camaro. Even then, I've learned SO MUCH MORE from your videos over the years. I probably wont be purchasing this course as I'm at a point in life where I have already built numerous street / race / supercharged motors that have served me well throughout the years (latest being a 502 cid for my '55 Chevy). Having said that, I would ABSOLUTELY and HIGHLY recommend to anyone else these courses from you as great asset to their future engine building endeavours. Thanks for making something like this available to everyone... sharing "knowledge" is one of the most noble things any person can do for another. 👍
Utmost respect for doing this training. I've been following you for YEARS! I'm 40 and consider myself pretty well rounded in engine building. That being said, I have learned countless tips and tricks from you. And for that, I am grateful. Aloha 🤙
Question for ya. I have a 3970010 SBC in my 86 GMC. Specs say 68-78 , also possible 327? Are engine gasket sets all the same for those years? Assuming 2 piece rear main seal? And head gaskets should be the same? I'm saying yes. Need your expertise please. Thanks!
I've watched you rebuild pontiacs many, many times. Would you offer this type of training for pontiacs as well? I have a 350 & 400, that i would love to do myself. And yes it would be my first build.
Just wondering the cost of the tools and or specialty tools that I'll need to do the work you're going to teach. Only asking so I will know where my budget would need to be. Thank you.
I like that your doing this. But the vehicles I'm more likely to be working with are GMC at the moment, will there be other series for the other manufacturers that would have enough differences to wait for them? Also could you do a video on what might be too much engine improvement to be street legal and how to know when to draw the line?
A small block in a GMC truck or SUV is exactly the same as in a Chevy. Unless you are talking about back in the '50's at which time GMC was using some Pontiac engines in their trucks.
Good very early morning Lee, My name is Ray Parsons, You have been so extremely kind to help me with your Small Block Chevy program as a gift for one of my young part-time guys ! I managed to get so far as to get it opened, and somehow evidently must have deleted it instead of saving it ! Would you be able to, or willing to re-send it to me please ? I have absolutely no idea how I managed to pull off such a dumb@$$ stunt ! I now have an excited young man, and only managed to show him your first program segment !

I actually purchased this program as a gift for a young man who works with us on a part-time basis, and I can tell you, this program is well beyond the price of administration !

Legend, can you make a video on stainless valves and how they can live in iron guides?

not to bad a couple hundred bucks
Could you do a video on drag car engine surge and it's causes please?

Are you saying the 350 in my GMC is not a small block Chevy? It’s different?
@@LyleMyers Chevrolet has things they did different from say Pontiac or GM main brand. Not a lot but that is why I asked ;)

Would this course be applicable to a LQ9 engine?
is this more of an assembly course you are offering? not the machining part of it?
Yes
Please do the Pontiac 389 engine.
