      That would be SO interesting to see Jordan in today's game. How many points will he average? Imagine him on a small ball, 5-out team in today's game. I think he could average a 40pt triple double, or at least close to Luka's numbers this year!

      @Sportivations Absolutely, and with the way the game is called now, he would avg 20-25 free-throws a game. He would be even more unstoppable in today's game, and they couldn't even stop him back then.

      To be fair, I feel like Edwards has more finesse than LBJ - he's not 6'9" 250 pounds so can't rely on his physique as much - and has a better jumpshot (though LeBron shot like 40% from 3 this year, kind of insane)
      But I see what you mean, MJ's movements were like watching poetry in motion, right?!

    Anybody who is saying that Anthony Edwards isn't like Mike, didn't grow up watching Mike! Of course his achievments aren't there yet but the way he plays and talent is! Killer instinct, nobody stopping him one on one, can shoot the three, defend, dunk on anybody, mid range game, fake outs with great foot work, work ethic and not intimidated by other greats! Let him win a ring and watch the same people back track their statement! For the record I'm Bulls fan and a big Jordan fan! Been one since 85! So I don't want to hear no hoop-la! To seal the deal, even Mike said and several other professional Basketball players feel the same. I actually feel his closer to MJ than Kobe was by how he looks when he plays! Ant got the same explosive game Jordan did!

    • @Sportivations
      @Sportivations  5 месяцев назад +1

      I agree, their game are very similar though Edwards is a much better 3pt shooter (though I guess that MJ would've had developed a better 3pt shot and shot more 3s if he played in our era)
      Kobe and MJ's game are actually pretty similar too (since Kobe modeled his game after Jordan) but I get your point, Kobe did not have the huge hands or broad shoulders and was never THE athletic freak like the two of them.
      Edwards definitely has a chance to be an all-time great!

However, comparing him to the greatest shooting guard to play in the NBA is too premature as he has a line of NBA players who were compared to Michael Jordan while Michael Jordan still played. It's a tough aspect of sports, how quickly public sentiment can shift. Hopefully, Anthony continues to develop and prove his resilience, no matter the pressures.

    isn't MJ 6'6 and Antman 6'4?

    • @Sportivations
      @Sportivations  5 месяцев назад

      Back then, players were measured with shoes on, MJ is actually closer to 6'5. Edwards is 6'4 without shoes on, so MJ's only an inch taller really

    Until he gets his ring, he'll remain as one of those many good/great ringLess players. He's young so he has a lot of chances every season. But of course, as long the bronsexuals' goat and god is still playing, media will always praise and promote/market him any chance they get. Edwards needs the nba media which leFlop owns. Whenever he plays against the goat and god of the media, you can be sure of who the media will be talking about, no one else but leWhine.

      Anthony definitely has time on his side to chase that ring! It's interesting how media influence shapes our view of players. Edwards has his work cut out for him, but who knows what the future holds?

      Some people like to compare D-Wade and MJ because of their incredible achievements in basketball. Right or wrong, it's a topic that pops up among fans and analysts alike. At Sportivations, we personally think MJ is the GOAT, but we truly value and admire the contributions of all NBA players, including D-Wade’s amazing career.

      That's so true, people often overlook this but it gives him a huge advantage, offensively and defensively. Kobe even admitted it in an interview once.
