The red T-shirt guy is Yoo seung min who is Athens Olympic gold medalist and now president of korean table tennis association He was professional table tennis player
samarth Raval I’m older. Loved his coach Kim taek soo. RSM seemed to lose to his chinese penhold rivals. Exception...his Olympic win. It could be argued Wang Hao beat himself though. Always loved the way he overpowered the Europeans of the day. Hope the style makes a resurgence.
@@injuredtabletennisplayer1474 If RSM had played in the 38mm era he would have been more dominant.Kim's serve wasn't a weapon, which is ironic considering he invented the reverse pendulum serve.
@@mortuc1 You can topspin drive and topspin loop. Loop is farther from the table and you create a higher arc, while drive is closer to the table and it is more flat. Although the technique still requires you to draw a circle.
Of course, RSM is the Superstar. They all know. But still I like the respect and politeness they are showing to each other.
lousyfication there was always a playful side to his champion persona. Xu is like that also.
I like the sense of humor of rsm. Thank you for delivering it to us in english subs
Ruy is an amazing coach as well.. RESPECT
This channel is a blessing
This is great stuff,
RSM, gives so much practical advice.

This channel is very amazing thank you for these vids
I feel like this guy would have a hard time against heavy underspin in a match situation though
RSM the best penholder

What a legend rsy
so drive in this case actually means loop right? u cant just drive or smash a short underspin ball
generally speaking koreans call topspin attacks "drive", they tend to call spinny-relatively-slow topspins "loop drive"
@@sjoshuaim Interesting. Thx for the claryfication!

More like an ellipse but yeah you have to complete the motion
