Solar arch & lithium sounds like a smart plan, be really interesting to see how "off-grid" you can get with it considering the weather here.

Yeah absolutely. Apparently the bifacials are pretty good as they absorbed from both sides so the whiteness from the hull/deck and the reflection from water will hopefully give it a bit of a boost. with lithium you can also discharge them more and they apparently recharge quicker. I have lots to research and do, I am also probably going to get a mobile power bank like a bluetti and throw some solar with that too.
      Mainly for a mix 1.
      1. for my folks house for their TV as they had their heating allowance taken away. so when im in hotels like this evening they can just use it.
      2. When I go car camping
      3. For the boat, I can drag it to the near by coffee shop and quick charge it for use for my gaming lap top.
I do have some solar 3x 170w and 4x 105ah batteries but it's really not enough for me. You can see my set up on "gaming offgrid" video.
Thanks for watching, I hope it answered some questions, as always thank you if you liked the video and let me know what you want to see.

I have watched a couple of your videos so far and you explain things really well. Just one suggestion and that is the subject of 'safety' whether one is tied up in a marina or sailing. For newcomers to boats, when moving about on a boat, always have one hand for self and one hand for the boat, move purposely and conscious of where the hand for self is holding onto, i.e. is it secure.

One hand for the boat one hand for the beer ;-)
Yeah, I could do a video. I'll have to scrub up on the rules a little. I'm considering driving down to Gibraltar on an adventure car camping and doing something like my day skipper. I've done around 2500k miles. I did do a video on it. But mostly was a passenger/crew. I asked questions, watched what was done, and had a bit of a go. I've also single-handed my boat around the bay area.....but I'm in the Bristol channel, so have to master the tides.
