This valve cover is from a wrecked 1988 #BMW #K75 #motorcycle. It was badly damaged with road rash so I decided to make it into an art piece by leveling out the damaged areas with J-B Weld and then repainting everything in the iconic BMW M sport colors.
Enjoy the video and let me know what you think of this restoration!

Hier war ein Mann mit goldenen Händen am Werk. ❤
That looks awesome buddy! Super jealous of your paint stripper.
Cheers Ben! This is some new stuff that I was trying for the first time. Its called Safe Erase maybe you can get it on your side of the pond? Much less toxic than the old stuff I used and it is a little bit slower but the end result was still very good.
Can't wait to see the full project 😍
Muy buen trabajo me gusta
Mis felicitaciones
Great idea as an art piece! and perfect finishing...👍👍
Thank you my friend!

bien bien biennnnn buen trabajo
Thank you!
Hey, love your work. Please can you tell us what's the brand of the spray are you using?
Looks great! But I'm curious: Why JBWeld, and not bondo?
Thanks, this is a valve cover so the heat tolerant properties of jb weld will hold up better over time.
красава 🤟🏻
The JB weld thing is kind of not the best way to do a restoration, but it works for a backyard kind of job tho, so not bad.
Heat resistant and the fix is purely cosmetic and not structural so jb weld is pretty much the best way to fix this type of damage. How would you fix it?
