The Forgotten BT-SV Tank

The BT-SV tank was an improved version of the BT fast tank series with comprehensive sloped armor, designed to address the poor defense of the original model. With its sloped armor and thicker plates, the BT-SV showcased a stronger defensive capability, although it ultimately did not see mass production due to project abandonment. However, its armor concept was consistent with the T-34 and could have potentially made a significant impact on tank design and defensive capabilities had it been further developed and applied to other models.
