I think it was probably a slab avalanche or catabaric winds. This would explain the crush injuries. Not all of them were as injured as each other because they were sleeping in different positions, and the snow could have carried smaller chunks of ice. I don't agree with your presumption that people couldn't have walked in a straight line with those injuries. Its painful, but I've seen people walk upright with broken ribs all the time, there's nothing else they can do. Head injuries also dont stop anyone from walking normally, concussions can kill you quietly hours or even days later.

Exellent video(s) on this incident. You deserve a lot of views/likes on this.
This whole thing is so strange. Remember that these were experienced hikers. Leaving their only shelter against the elements, some of them half naked, on a trip to nowhere, (a trip that probably took them almost an hour to complete) - they all knew it was the certain death. If there ever was a reason to panic in a situation like this, it would be the Russian winter more than anything else. But there was no signs of panic or attempts to turn back at any point. I'm not really into conspiracy theories, but the authorities behaviour in this case is also highly suspicious.
I will leave it there. And you are absolutely right; we will probably never get the answer to what really happened.

It's been all but solved. The katabatic winds explanation put forward by a guy named Holmgren accounts for every last one of these strange occurrences very nicely and not only that, but he experience the same conditions himself on film when you went there to do a documentary on it. It's basically like being in a hurricane in already below freezing temperatures. You're talking about negative 60 degrees and 100+ mph winds showing up out of nowhere.

I come back to this episode every time I think about this case. And that's often. I'm so obsessed with this! I can imagine your theory. I always thought whatever happened that night had to be something unexplainable. And probably paranormal. That's why the Russian officers decided to keep it hush. And classified the case asap. I think u did a good job. And u did a lot of research. Your theory is the best and most likely. No matter how unbelievable it may sound. Only close minded people would oppose your brilliant explanation.

I stay with my opinion that it has smth to do with military/kgb/secret agencies.
    1) The injuries on their bodies/fists/necks which prove a fight and killing by special forces.
    2) The distance between the 3 bodies is exactly the same like someone was hunting and catch them one by one.
    3) The second camera from Zolotaryov was never found
    4) Zolotaryov who join just short before the travel (instead of Bienko V.N.) into the group
    5) He was waiting for some important papers before the travel starts
    6) Zolotaryov was a military/kgb agent
    7) Zolotaryov said...we gonna do smth, the world will speak about.
    8) The investigation report with the issue date of february 6 while noone was missing at this time!!!!! The gov already know 2 weeks before the rescue group starts searching for the group.
    9) The Pilot who discover the tent (Karpushin G.A.) february 24 said that he seen 2 dead bodies laying in front of the tent. 2 days later as the rescue crew arrived... noone was there anymore.
    10) The nurse who said they bring 11 bodies in the hospital. But only 9 left in there. The other 2 are missing.
    11) More than 100 people are involved into this case
    12) KGB Agent (Shestopalov M.F.) was there to investigate. He was a so called human intelligence collector.
    If this is really true...
the rest of the lost documents to solve that mistery are demolished/hidden or not to find at all in russia.
Maybe in another database of another foreign agency.

Dyatlov was found a good 100 to 150 meters downhill from rustem. It makes no sense that he was trying to carry rustem to the tent. And it was mentioned that rustem appeared to be running when he went down. This theory doesnt make much sense.

I grew up on the farm. Bulls and rams can get very aggresive. It's not much of a stretch to imagine a wild reindeer herd in the middle of gestation season taking exception to intruders in their range. I know moose can go pretty crazy.

I think the Soviet military was doing bomb testing in that area that night. The area was chosen for the test because they knew that area would be deserted, not even the Mansi went to that mountain. But unfortunately, Dyatlov and his team just happened to be there that night.
The Dyatlov group were in there tent when the first bomb went off in the distance. They left the tent quickly because they were scared and wanted to see what was going on out there. Maybe they even knew it was an explosion of some kind. They all headed down to the tree and built a fire.
A second bomb was dropped and they for sure realized they were in some serious danger. Some climbed the tree for a better view of what was going on, some tried to get back to the tent, and some went and started to build a den.
The people at the tree froze to death, the people heading back to the tent froze to death, but the people in the den were still alive. They knwent and took some clothes off of their dead friends.
Then a third bomb exploded, this one was very close to the den. Causing the car crash like injuries to the people in the den, from which they all died.
I like the Katabatic wind theory too

Ball lightning is a fleeting phenomenon and is not known to in circle people, then disappear, then reappear just to strike them. Additionally, you would need specific atmospheric conditions for ball lightning to form, and as far as I know, those conditions were not available on that night in that region. It seems to me that this ball of light behaved, intentionally and deliberately

All three of your videos were really extensive and well done. I’ve seen other videos and listened to a podcast or two but for what has been on RUclips, these are the best. That being said I would like to know a little more about lightning ball phenomena. Not knowing much about it I would not assume it’s not a plausible theory but I just don’t know much about it and some of the scenarios regarding it with this particular incident seem a little far-fetched to me. That being said thanks for all the work you did on these videos. They were really well done and detailed.

  • @isaiahjgomez1501

I think the most important piece of info that eludes me so much, making every branch of theories irrelevant until solved, is the fact it had to be somthing that scared them so much to cut the tent out, and make them walk away without even grabbing extra clothes, yet not scare them enough to have them panic run away, but instead walk like they thought things through? But even if they thought things through, they still didn’t bother grabbing more clothes?
I don’t believe in ur personal theory. Ball lightning is so extremly rare that it was only very very recently discovered to be actually real. The idea of it happening multiple times the same night, as well as it just happening to happen their walk away as if following them, and ALSO lighting striking them after setting up camp again just seems way to implausible.
I honestly want to know if there were any drugs in their system. This sounds like such a drugged up psychosis way of things happening, where they’re panicking yet attempting to think things clearly. Meh, who ever knows
I really don’t think the goverment had anything to do with this. Let’s be honest, they probably would’ve left this entire thing without a trace and would’ve just set a faux expidition and say they found nothing. It’s not hard for them to hide body’s. Even if they did do a terrible clean up job, are we really gonna believe Stalinist ran USSR couldn’t control the narrative and fabricate the entire investigation on a whim? No questions asked? They literally held had 5 million Ukrainians die in a famine to make sure no one found out about the bad harvest they had by locking down the country, they couldn’t keep the story clean over 8 dead Russians? I do understand the problem with most conspiracy theorists is that they never account for human negligence and mistakes hence everything has a reason, but Jesus this is a lot more then just normal human negligence if they wanted to fix the media on this

I think it was a stampede of reindeer or a bull moose that attacked them. This would explain the skull fractures etc. They had to get out the tent quickly and get to woods for protection. These animals are in the area and the Mansi herd them. Strong winds spoked them and they headed for Dyatlov group.

Well-edited videos. Thank you. Unfortunately your theory is wrong. In your video, you show a photo of the tent several times shortly after it was discovered. The geometry of the tent is almost untouched. Any theory to explain the events must explain why the tent ultimately has the shape and position it does. The case was solved long ago by experts, but it’s another matter that mystery lovers want to see something more there

I seen other videos of people encountering orbs and getting ratation or dieing all of a sudden. Even with animals that encounter these orbs. Just think about it there like a strong x-ray or heat or a mix of both. I believe that's y they were so secret about it. I mean why else would the government make it classified information. And when they finally let the public see the files to this case, why were pages missing or a lot was blocked out. What were they hiding. I believe if they were to tell the whole truth, no matter how bizarre or crazy it may sound. People would either think they are crazy or cause mass hysteria. Especially cause ufo's, aliens, big foot. Etc. Not suppose to exist the higher ups wouldn't want others laughing at them or not take them seriously. Authorities back in those days, were not so forthcoming with Explanations and especially Soviet ones so I understand their need for extra Secrecy. Because they had no logical explanation of the Incident, they thought, it was better to offer a Silly Explanation instead and try to close the case ASAP. More Details would mean more questions and undermine their own Credibility !
