Mike White gives me HUGGGGE young Joe Flacco vibes. His throwing motion is just like Joe. That really smooth looking: "I'm throwing a dart at a dart board" sort of motion. There's confidence and touch with his throws. Some QBs just fire a football at their receiver at 100% throwing power no matter where they are on the field, not realizing that catching a 100mph fastball from 8 yards away is borderline crazy. The bizarre thing is that Joe Flacco was just put on the Jets. But if you removed the name from Mike White's jersey I would swear that's a young Joe Flacco behind center. I say that as a compliment. Joe Flacco got himself a Super Bowl!
It helps that White put the ball right in their hands with accuracy and good timing. Dude was doing room service. That really helps put a couple extra exclamation points on the authority.
Obviously can’t get too excited after one game. But this kid has a lightning quick release, excellent pocket presence, great vision downfield, and has a confidence and swagger to him. I’m thinking there might be something to this kid.
Before anyone jumps me like I’m calling him the next tom Brady, I’m not. But you know what he did this game that reminded me of the GOAT? He was quick and decisive and took what the defense gave him. It reminded me of all those games against the jets where Brady would always get the ball out so quickly and it seemed like everyone was open all the time. Mike white may be a one game flash in the Pan, but that’s what this game reminded me of
White is everything we Pats fans are used to seeing the Jets get destroyed by. Quick release, dink and dunk, short yardage high percentage plays.
Joe flacco is an underrated qb
Mike White!!
Go Jets!
1:50 One of the best passes I have ever seen from a Jets QB
Damn the receivers and RBs looked crisp after the catch and running with authority
It helps that White put the ball right in their hands with accuracy and good timing. Dude was doing room service. That really helps put a couple extra exclamation points on the authority.
Great job by the offensive line too
Only man besides Brady who can get 400 yards off screen passes and drag routes. Respect!!!
Obviously can’t get too excited after one game. But this kid has a lightning quick release, excellent pocket presence, great vision downfield, and has a confidence and swagger to him. I’m thinking there might be something to this kid.
Mike White is an absolute natural at QB…if the Hets play him they will win!🏈
Bro we got a star studed team the timing just been of still love Zach but this kid Mike lit and the Bengals beat the raven so good win for us
Before anyone jumps me like I’m calling him the next tom Brady, I’m not. But you know what he did this game that reminded me of the GOAT? He was quick and decisive and took what the defense gave him. And when he did make decisions, he was accurate. It reminded me of all those games against the jets where Brady would always get the ball out so quickly and it seemed like everyone was open all the time. Mike white may be a one game flash in the Pan, but that’s what this game reminded me of
He even has bradys same size and frame. He looks like him in the pocket. Holds himself the same way. I think the Jets have something here.
White over Zach Wilson all day!!! Put this guy in
Damn... Mike has that wow factor about himself. He looks incredibly comfortable. Wilson needs to take the backseat!
Absolutely. Very poised and confident in the pocket. Can't teach that.
White takes 2 to 3 seconds to get rid of the ball. Great job. 👏👏👏
White is everything we Pats fans are used to seeing the Jets get destroyed by. Quick release, dink and dunk, short yardage high percentage plays.
Now suddenly their own Quarterback plays their Achilles style. All of a sudden the student is suddenly striving to become the master and I'm a bit nervous :p
Zach pay attention!?! You can check down a bunch and still throw for over 400 yards with a W.
