    Would you be looking to produce a manual version of this? Also, how do you ensure that the film is not scratched in the loading process?

    This would be a very nice tool to use if you had a small business breaking down 400 foot bulk rolls of Vision 3 film, for example, into 35mm-36 exposure cartridges for resale. Finding a competent device to break down those 400 foot minimum rolls from Kodak into 100 foot rolls for use in a common bulk loader is quite difficult and expensive itself. However, this item is $600. You have to bulk load a hell of a lot of film to break even on that overhead.

      You will break even after you bulk load 400ft Ektarchrome.

      The time it took to write your comment you could have done math and found that 1 400 ft break even point.
      Also
      You don’t need a business. You can just shoot 70+ rolls at 36 or shoot more at 24

      $600 machine. $650 film.
      400ft = 76 rolls of film.
      Sell at $22 a roll.
      $1670 revenue = $400 profit.
      Pretty simple math there bucko

    nice, an auto loader, would be good if you make one for the canon and nikon 250 and 750 bulk backs, which have a larger cartridge, or for the linhof 70mm film cine rollex backs.

    Would be great if you sold the magazine on its own

    Do you have to use tiny scissors? Can you use regular size scissors?

      For this price I would expext the machine to do it, or at last has a function for it.

    what do you set for 24 exposure rolls?

      For 36 it was 42 (6 frames for the film leader) so for 24 exposures you would set it to 30, I assume.
