I have a Watching Irene's Diy Addiction addiction. No matter what you sink your teeth into, it turns out amazing. Thank you, Irene. Love from Sweden 🤗💖
I wish this art idea was around 30 years ago when I had radiators in my home, they were very ugly. I built cabinets over them to hide them. Great job on yours!
🌷 WOW!!! I didn't know such a thing was possible. The before and after is truly AWESOME!!! The bricks look SO REAL!!! It's amazing what you can do with less expensive items and work with what small things you have, and in the end, it all comes together nicely. GOOD JOB!!
Oh, Irene! You definately have a magic touch with giving an area a faux look! The radiator and wall look fantastic!!!! I love this project. Thank you for giving us this wonderful idea!❤
I have my grandmas antique white wood stove that is stained from years past. This technique looks amazing! This summer, I'll attempt to renovate this antique stove. Thank you for the great tips and the idea. ❤
The whole thing turned out so amazing. You have such patience and talent. Growing up in Massachusetts's we had many radiators that stood on the floor, how ugly they were. I am in awe of.what you did.
I love the beauty and details of your work! Your level of precision and finesse is astounding to me. You are so clever and so creative. The bronzed details look stunning! And, the bricks look so real, and so cozy. I'm impressed that the wood glue and cardboard will stand up to the heat of a radiator (but, I have heard that people put clothes on their radiators to dry them, and that seems ework for them).
I love the cardboard bricks. I was hoping you would do something with that back wall near top where it looked bad. Doing the entire wall was wonderful!👍🇺🇸
I would love the link for the brick wall tutorial, please! That is exactly what I was looking for. You had me fooled with your brick wall! I was convinced it was real. Well done!
This came out awesome! Sadly almost all trading with Russia has been cut off the last years because of ... reasons, but i realy hope it will change for the better in the future, a few years back i did order some parts for my dollshouse from a small company in Russia, among those a set of realy beautiful little windows, but i need more of them... ha ha
Irene, im assuming you are not using the radiator to provide heat. Functioning radiators can get quite hot and l fail to see how these decorations can stay attached. Wouldn't the glue melt once the radiator became hot? Also if these ornaments are made of resin, wouldn't they melt as well?
Well, I attached the embellishments while the radiator was still hot, and as you can see nothing has melted☺️ air dry clay is not resin, it is mostly made of plaster, so it won't melt, as well as the glue, they just get dry and then stay as they are
I can't believe the difference, the radiator and brick wall turned out gorgeous.

Love it! What you used to brush over painted radiator? The gold paint?
Irene, does that radiator work?
Oh ya I'm from Minnesota US.
Irene, did you put glue before putting the figurines?
because over time they come off.
Is the rest of your house just as beautiful as your studio?
Good thing you wore a mask and for anyone trying this, remember about LEAD METAL in old paints, they're really dangerous!
❤😂😂😂😮😮😮😊
WHATTTTTTT?!
Как превратить уродливьіе советские радиаторьі в уродливьіе виторианские радиаторьі.
This doesn't seem safe. I hope the radiator can hold all of that stuff without any fumes from cracks.
