Just amazing. It's been my experience with any bird bath that is use, my birds anyway will not use the bath if it is to deep. So I usually add a few rocks or glass blobs from the dollar tree so they can splash around. You did a great job. I am gonna make another one. Thanks for the idea, and we'll explained direction.

I am blown away and so inspired by this! I hadn't even heard of hypertufa before. Wow! I hope to try something like this myself now. Правильно оба произношения и "фрэджил", и "фрэджайл" для "хрупкий", но первое произношение более употребительное, поэтому не сразу услышала и поняла о чем идет речь. У самой английский - третий язык, поэтому все время пытаюсь улучшить. Кстати, за 20 лет вне зоны действия языка приходится следить и за русским - появилось много новых слов, особенно для разных гаджетов. Слежу за 3 Вашими каналами уже давно и с большим удовольствием. Вы меня вдохновляете на подвиги. Больше люблю русский вариант, все таки, наш язык более выразительный. И, думаю. я не одна, кто уже давно ждет новостей на канале с реставрацией кукол. Очень удался. Is it waterproof? We have cold winters. Will it hold below 0 celsius??
We have winters up to -30C here and this mixture withstands it well! But I'm going to remove water and cover it, so that it sits dry during the winter

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE wear a face mask. The dry concrete or portland cement powder will go into your lungs and the dampness inside your lungs will "HARDEN" inside your lungs that cannot be removed. You can take off the mask when the hypertupha is very wet and mixed up. Protect your eyes ALSO, so the same reason.........Be safe !!!!! for your health.

the gray tape is Duct tape [usually for taping metal duct work like A/C piping ]but WE ALL use it for anything else since it is so stickie. We used it to stick boxes together but after cold to hot weather, the duct tape lets go ...........LOL

This is really beautiful! But there is one little problem.... it's too deep, this is basically a bird drink, not a bath because they need to be able to stand in the water to bathe. Your creative technique with the mold hacks was excellent and the bird molds charming and I love the texture of the hypertufa. Maybe the next one could be quite a bit more shallow. Of course you could put some pebbles in so they can stand if you're interested in doing that? But good job! 🐦
Marvelous job. You are very creative, and work so hard to do all this. Love the decorations you put on the outside of the bath to make it look old. I do agree with @cindydickson3379, though, that it might be a bit too deep for the birds, the little ones could drown in one this deep. Also a shallower one is much easier to clean. Your design of the garden with the flowers and other plantings is just lovely. You have created a little oasis grotto, very pleasant and serene.

Seems kind of deep for a bird bath. 2-3 inches should be the maximum depth.... at least for the birds where I live.

Thank you for sharing this with us. I have watched with interest as I would like to try to make one. I see you have used a deep basin for the mold. The water for birds should not be too deep or they could drown. Three inches deep is good.

You need a stone in the middle, the water is too deep, as the water rises or retreats, the birds still have a footing!….It’s my humble opinion……
