    This is a tutorial on how I create skins for second life in 2024 using photo-morphing methods. You will NEED photoshop for this tutorial!
    I used the Velour template in my video, if you have a store I would apply for their dev kit.
    Please note that newest versions of photoshop no longer have the 3D feature so you must use a 2021 version or older!

    Can you do a video of how beginners can get their start without the Lelutka 3D head and with the velour basic kit not the pro kit. I’m struggling with Evox without guidance of how to start a skin without the actual 3D head. I’d appreciate it. (:

    • @AnastasiaHarlow
      @AnastasiaHarlow  7 месяцев назад +2

      It’s the same concept, just warping to match the 2D. And I didn’t know velour has two different kits now. I will look into it and do a video

      It’s the same process you just have to warp it to the 2D reference. There should be guide lines in the kit that you can use to help

  • @ladyvanessa972
    @ladyvanessa972 8 месяцев назад +1

    hey anastasia , great tutorials ! i was wondering . Every time I import an image into Second Life, I lose some quality compared to its appearance in Photoshop. It becomes a bit blurry even though I import it as a 2048 PNG. Do you know why?

    • @AnastasiaHarlow
      @AnastasiaHarlow  8 месяцев назад +1

      It’s because secondlife doesn’t support 2K textures atm so it gets compressed even though the file is 2048 (doesn’t make sense I know). Try making your files in 4K that way when it gets compressed it will get compressed better. Right now they are working on making it possible to have 2K textures, but you can only test it on the Alchemy viewer.

    This is a form of copybotting, using RL photo's of a real person to make a SL skin of AND sell it for your own profit

    • @AnastasiaHarlow
      @AnastasiaHarlow  15 дней назад +1

      Well first off the image I used is from a stock image website that allows people to use pictures of models & various items for art purposes. Second, I do not profit off of selling skins. My main items are lashes, I am just simply sharing my knowledge to help others for FREE with this video.

      this take is bogus to me bc almost every creator does this. would them using ai (which uses references from REAL PICS) pics be copybotting to u also?
