The amateur crook shot by his friend took place in Heywood. If you ask Judy what she picked out for you, she tells you it's a corner store hold up in Heywood.
The corner store is even in game. You can ask the shopkeeper why it smells like chlorine in the store and he tells you he had to clean up some tough stains aka the blood of the dude who got shot.
So, that building u found out near the mansion and stuff is actually a casino. It was intended to be a place V could go to hang out, drink, and play games like poker, blackjack, and pool. There was supposed to be a few story missions there from what I recall. Ultimately it was scrapped due to time constraints and now we have an empty shell of what it used to be, hidden away where u can't ever see it w/o no-clip. I think there's been a few mods to restore it but I'm not sure. Might wanna double check on that.
The lights at the end of the tunnel are there to catch the players attention so they'll be drawn that way. Its an old dev trick. If you really look around, you'll find all these shards that are out of the play field which are used as objects for scripted event injectors. The building off map in the North East was going to be the casino, but that got cut from the game. The 'Boston' map is really Brooklyn, NY, and yeah its there for the Phantom Liberty/Songbird cut scenes.
Isn't that 'Boston' area actually Brooklyn where So Mi used to live in the past; and is used as the set for where you have the scene with So Mi in her old apartment if you chose to side with Reed the first time around? EDIT: Yeah, definitely So Mi's old apartment! When you went inside I recognized it from my own playthrough. You get to see that if you let Songbird go on a rampage (by stalling for time during the AI retrieval) near the end of the Cynosure facility. A very interesting glimpse into So Mi's past that is also very sad.🙂
Elevator is for cyberspace when the world gets flipped upside down it gets turned red. The huge building you seen is a cut casino we were supposed to have.
4:30 Perhaps it's a cut content of another life path. We have an insight and perspective of an outsider (nomad), street kid, corpo, but no celebrity. "Fall from grace" trope in case of a corpo lifepath and its insight makes an interesting story. Perhaps celebrity lifepath was deemed redundant next to corpo?
Its undeneath the map under dog town, its very hard to see as it has a very small pop in/ render distance so you have to be like 50 ft away before you can see it.
Look the old card off the land off cyber punk in the version not all the city lot off kontent is not imported in the game in in the so many mission misig….. 😢
Its Brooklyn, not Boston says Songbird
You are quite right! I am no lore nut at all but I do love exploring and finding things to share with you guys :D
4:40 that's the casino that was axed early in development, hence all the place holder textures.
A real shame we never got to see it completed. Would have been cool if we had some kind of mission or heist in that area. 🙂

Thanks ! its been so long since i Did any story missions I just could not remember where it happened XD

The shop + parking lot from the "tutorial" braindance is actually a "real" place in game you can visit in .... heywood.
I didnt know that ! will go check that one out!
@@DaKaPlays yup...shop owner has a fun line of dialog too. :D
Interesting

A real shame they never completed it as it sounds pretty cool.
@@DanakarEndeel ya. It would've been really sweet if they finished it, but like I said, time constraints got the better of CDPR. It's sucks dude...

6:53 that is without a doubt the room that is used in Songbird's flashbacks.
BTW, what is the name of the music track?
You should get the flashlight mod it is very good for those very dark places
I can't believe the whole firestarter mission is all loaded in once you reach the elevator in the car park .

Project Orion is being developed in Boston
That doesn't matter. Besides it's Brooklyn and it's used in one of the Phantom Liberty endings
free fly cam mod has to be one more fun mods to use to look around for secrets.

The flashing rocks I believe was originally supposed to have more buggy lights but would've cause lapping issues I believe....
I'm sure those glass sliding doors are in the 'red Queens race' and the underground tiger claws casino in charter hill.
The elevator looks like when you go into cyber space! Would make sense why it is under the world
The cyber space area is one of the things im trying to find, its been (T)bugging me for a very long time.
@ yeah if you think you are in an elevator going up when you get shot and you’re meeting Johnny
4:40 pretty sure that was supposed to be a casino and it got cut.
The floating doors and elevator are most likely test assets
Outside of the map. Basic for ending on choice with reeds..
Maybe content used in trailers or inside news movies?

That's the elevator to hell
You sound like jeremy clarkson 😂
The most hidden secrets ..... in the world....
@DaKaPlays amazing 👏🏻
That's so cool! Where on the map is Brooklyn placed?

Why V, in 2077 do not have any flash light? This is the worst f**** Thing.
Fr kiroshi's gotta have it but V don't like it I guess, plus takes away from the bladerunner aesthetic I suppose
Mods have things to help
