All I can say is that I LOVE your tutorials! Right to the point real world teaching for Film and Video people. Dont't stop giving us the knowledge. PLEASE Among the sea of YT tutorials you are a secret weapon
This was one of the most resourceful video I've seen as a newbie. The whole 720p export and edit, then linking it back to 4k is what I was looking for all along. My computer is pretty slow which makes 4k editing nearly impossible. Thanks.
Awesome tutorial! I Learned ALOT! I didnt even know you could edit multi camera that way on the fly and visually too now in premiere pro! that will save me 100000s of HOURS!! KEEP MAKING MOrE VIDEOS!
Dear Chinfat, thank you for sharing many tutorial video for this. useful for me and upgraded my skill in here. wish you al the best, and greetings from Indonesia. :). now i think i have good teacher.
Nice to see you do a project using the things you have been teaching. Would love to see more of that. btw, what effect are you using for the old projector film look in the b-roll. Would like to get that one!
Question: Say I use the multi cam process and I want to go back and change on of the angles I chose to a different angle, would I have to sync it back up? Or how would that work?
Amazing video man 😀 I learned so much from it :') keep up the good work man 😀 I was wondering if you can post some of the media files that you have from a music video shoot so that I can practice with it because atm I dont have a 4k camera or a band to shoot with and I want to practice editing these shots. If anyone can help me with this It would be so great :')
I'm a complete beginner at video editing and premiere pro, so this probably wasn't the best video for me, but good video regardless. It would help a lot of people if you made a "How to edit music videos for dummies" kind of video lol .

Question: Did you use a separate director movie film board for each camera? Or did you mark each camera with one film board prior to recording footage?
In Premiere 2017 CC is the step of making and searching for offline media still relevant if using ingested proxy media for the multicam? This video is a year old - just seeing if that step is relevant still. I have edited for years in other software and started just recently with 2017 CC - seems that the proxy workflow has just changed lately and not sure what applies and what doesn't.
hey thanks for this video, does adobe's any editor provides us full features for 30 days trail pack? if not den could u please gimme link to download this Premiere Pro CC pack for free? for Windows 64bit, please i tried alot i even have cs6 extended with me but this stuff is more interesting..
Why would you encode a file intended for use as a proxy using a codec with inter frame compression rather than a codec that uses intraframe compression? Intraframe compression is less taxing on the CPU when editing.
Hello, I encoded my files to 480p because I'm working with 20 video files on the multi-cam, when I got to relinking the 1080p footage is cropped. Can you help me with this situation I'm in, much would be appreiated. Thanks
+ReveIation Yes. All you have to do is my a brand new timeline that is 1920x1080 with the same frame rate. Then go to the 480 timeline. Do CTRL + A (or CMD + A for Mac), which will select all. CTRL + C (CMD + C for Mac) to copy. Then go to to your new 1080 timeline and hit CTRL + V (CMD + V for Mac) and it will paste the edit in the new timeline. It will no longer be cropped.
+chinfat thanks for the reply, the time line was already a 1080p timeline, the problem I was having is that the 1080p footage was there but a black border was around it. I found the problem though, I had to change the multi cam sequence settings used in the proxy to 1920 X 1080 and it fixed it. When copying the edit files from the 480p to the 1080p sequence the edits on the time line remained same resolution even after I relinked the 1080p footage.

Here is the updated one. ruclips.net/video/5YtEDEM5SqE/видео.html
I just use a big boom box to Q the band and shoot the song by the Intro, verse, chorus, solo, outro, etc...

Intraframe compression is less taxing on the CPU when editing.
I just use ProRes. I just used this as an example for the PC. ProRes or DNX are the best proxy codecs around.
wow wow wow no words hahaha
its really nice
Thank you!
