Dishil Vaghela multiband compressors work similarly the compresaor in this tutorial work, u are triggering frequencies , first get to know, what frequencies get conflicted or you want to compress and then accordingly adjust the bandwidth and threshold or other settings. Withought acoustic treatment, u need to know about your equipment more and more and that happens just by REFERENCING referencing tracks will help (go on with headphones for details ) but monitors are better anyways and ya, do LISTEN/REFER before MIXING
