Don't know much about Al Murray, so when I clicked on this video, I was mostly just expecting witty bants, not such an enlightening, thoughtful, educational dialogue. Very glad to have spent 87 minutes here.
    Thank you, Al and Richard.

Al is frighteningly intelligent and well-informed, but he's also a total gent. One of our biggest talents, for sure. One of my favourite RHLSTP episodes.

I went to a party last week and reeled off all the stuff he said about observing the cabinet meetings and the loss of trust in British politics.
I sounded so clever and inciteful on my 7th beer and 2nd red wine.

He has an excellent podcast with the historian James Holland called 'We Have Ways of Making You Talk'. Its about WW2, but if you have any interest in the subject it's well worth a listen.

Each episode i have to rearrange my top of the leader board on guests . The girls from all Killa no filla was top, Now al Murray is top of the board as best podcast .Each week it amazes me on how relaxed the guests are to open up and feel very comfortable..Thoroughly enjoyable

Loved how genuine this was. That was the real, albeit slightly intoxicated, Al Murray; not necessarily trying to entertain, just wanting to talk |:)

As an adult yes, but when you are also a young teen you form gangs and beat up the public school toffs cos they are from a different school and a bunch of snobby arsefaces.

Where does Rich's habit of adding random Gs in words (e.g. Frankingstein, Skelington) come from? The mispronunciation annoys me purely at face value, but it annoys me more to think that it may be a joke I'm not in on.
