I have been having a annoying time against meta for past week and wanted to just revitalize my happiness in master dual then i stumble upon you insta subbed imma give these birds a shot wish me luck
Same dude, same. I picked up Yugioh again after like 20 years. Imagine my shock when I saw synchro, link and what not lmao. I still wanted to try an old school deck and played an Arcana Knights Slifer deck and the realized what a META deck really is in Yugioh. After that I’ve tried Dinomorphia, Exosister, Swordsoul and other stuff. Finally settled with Kashtira and Floowandereeze. They’re really cool and anti meta. Toxic decks for a toxic meta I say xD
I find it strange when I started playing this deck I always wondered why it was limited to one and then I can figure out why that is and it’s a damn strong card
It's honestly limited because it is a deck they aren't making support for, is extremely cheap to build compared to every meta deck, and is strong in any meta. So how does Konami prevent people from playing it? By giving it unjustified hits. Empen got limited to 1 back when we were in a tier 0 format with full power Tearlament Ishizu running rampant. Let that sink in. Instead of hitting the most powerful deck in the game, they decided to limit one of the few decks that could actually compete with it without having to spend a bunch of gems.
@@aLousyBum83 I wouldn't necessarily say it's an unjustified hit. FIrst off, they are running a buisness and need people to spend money in order to keep the servers running and pay their employees. Secondly, people hate playing against the deck and they don't want a bunch of people quitting because they have to constantly have to play against full power floo all the time.
@@steveshin820 Floo has only ever had the statues (which aren't even part of the engine and were instead part of a floodgate strategy) hit in OCG and TCG. Other than that, Floo is 100% legal. You don't see it doing too much because compared to meta decks, they get smoked. But people that want to play Floo can effectively. In MD, Floo has turned into a stun deck because of the limits. And the whole "Konami is a business that needs to make money." Is a piss poor excuse. No deck should be hit to promote sales of another deck.
@@aLousyBum83 Unlike the real card game, it doesn't affect their bottom line as much having full power floo be available to everyone. IRL in order to compete you usually need the latest staples and archetypes to compete, ensuring that cards are constantly being sold. There's a small group of people IRL that still play floo compared to the entire playerbase. In Masterduel, not only is floo a cheap deck, but due to the nature of it you never have to upgrade your deck to another one to stay competetive. It doesn't make sense for them to keep floo at full strength.
I am a beginner that is looking to start playing floo, what to do with the extra deck if I do not have the URs ? And for the feathers and the books is it better to replace them with imperm and dark ruler? ( I am currently gold and aiming for master )
just put random cards in the extra deck to have pot fodder. featherstorms arent needed too. just play the game and play whatever you think you need more. the most important thing is to do the combos correctly and set up chainblocks correctly

@@nothingtosayMD thank you so much for your answer! And what about the snowl flo? Isn’t his “book of eclipse” kind of effect strong enough? I see most players play Avian instead, is there a reason?

How did you have so little loses to mater 1. I cant even get in master. Even if i start first and summon the boss monsters i just get negater or board broken and i loose. Pls help if you have any tips.
the later you play in a month, the easier the opponents become. i can recommend you to watch www.youtube.com/@Gimichu_The_Admiral_Rabino as he livestreams his games so you have more games to watch and learn from. reaching master1 shouldnt be a problem if you are good. if you are struggling with that it means that you have not enough experience. by playing a lot you gain that experience. i played a few thousand floo games just on md. it takes a while to get to that level. i would start by analyzing my going first winrate. if you are able to do your combo (empen+dreaming town) your winrate should be atleast at 80%+. if it isnt, you maybe dont know the correct choke points of the decks you are playing against. also another important point is hand knowledge. often you can tell what handtraps your opponent has just by them gaining the opportunity to chain to your cards. this can help to bait or play around specific handtraps. its also relevant to keep that knowledge that you gain from their ability to chain to your cards. 33:22 for example, i knew that my opponent must have ash in hand, so i had to use advent preventive to gain another chainblock for my next normal summon. i did predict him having ash correct. if i didnt use advent there, he wouldve negated my normal summon and i wouldve lost on the spot. on the other side you can use that hand knowledge to your advantage. if you for example have a quickplay spell to dodge veiler/imperm and do your combo, your opponent will notice that and might not waste it too early. by temporarily turning chaining off you can hide your quick effects.
@@monkeyking358 i got to master1 on the 2nd day of the month. 1-3 days should be enough to get to master1 if you play perfect and know your opponents decks well. at the start it should be your aim just to get to master1, no matter how long that takes. once you did that you can continue improving. also its important to take breaks when you are having unlucky streaks
